9000 Hibs fans was very good for what was a glorified kick about.
Clydebank will get a good wedge from that.

By contrast almost 10 years ago to the day we played Cowdenbeath in the league, a 5-0 win, in front of 8240.

Even allowing for the bigger away support today it shows how much our crowds have held up since 2016 that there was quite a lot of moaning (moreso on Twitter than here) about ticket sales for today being 'embarrassing'.

The attendance shows that all this rubbish we’ve been seeing saying their fans would outnumber ours was just rubbish.

Home team 20% of Gross Receipts
SFA 5% of Gross Receipts

The remaining 75% is split equally between the two competing clubs after deduction of expenses, including VAR.

Probably not a huge money spinner considering the expense of opening the stadium and the cost of the tickets.

It will still be about £50k for Clydebank which is a huge amount for a 6th division team, they have an average crowd of 600 which will bring in about £5k in gate receipts each game less all their expenses, rental of ground etc. Playing us will probably double their income for the season

Good turnout from the Hibs fans too it's got to be said for what was effectively a bye into the next round at the end of January when most folk are skint.

An excellent turn out and good to see so many more kids in the crowd, I'm guessing that it was the first trip to ER for many of them. A well chosen first game by their parents/grandparents if it was.

Fake news as ever from the undercover ones, good crowd yesterday. I was impressed with the Bankies support, and at the end the whole team got pictures in front of the away stand full of them still enjoying there trip to the Capital.

I felt there was a good vibe around the game yesterday. The Clydebank fans did their club proud with their backing of the team throughout the game - not many left early.
Thought it was a nice touch too, that the Hibs support gave the away fans a round of applause near the end.
Hope they enjoyed their day, especially the youngsters.

By the sounds of it so did I 🤯. Complete off day, not a bleeding clue where that came from. Shocker.

Yup - the Bankies fans took it in good spirit.
These things are always easier when the away fans are just there for a party & there's no real fear
from the home variety. Whole vibe would have been different if they had been giving us a game.
