Absolutely delighted with that … one thing nobody can question today is the spirit and character this team have shown , to a man they give absolutely everything in coming back twice . I thought Martin Boyle was outstanding today .

Fantastic effort and result ..

Well done Hibs :flag:

To a man we were full of character. Campbell was superb, Triantis, Boyle, all of them.

Was absolutely delighted we never retreated in the last 10 minutes.

Agreed. Campbell epitomised that. Boyle back to his best, Cadden superb deliveries, triantis battling away.

Campbell not really involved first half, can't fault his second half performance, Triantis also done well at times.

NMW brought us some good energy at a good time, did give the ball away bit overall he done well.

I love that Hibs' identity is so much stronger than every other club in the league.

Agreed - all at Hibs deserve great credit for that today.

Special credit imo for those who are somewhat maligned and who were poor during our poor opening 20. They put their bad starts behind them and managed to go on to contribute towards an excellent point won. The dissection of the poor moments can happen later.

You can go a long way in this league with bottle, effort and will to win and this squad is starting to show we have those attributes. SDG has to take a lot of the credit for that

Quality is questionable in certain positions but spirit and desire absolutely isn’t. I didn’t see that coming after 20 minutes today. Probably the second equaliser was even more impressive in that sense for me though.

Aye spirit was shown by everyone who turned up, it was bloody freezing at Easter Road today, the team got the result once they started getting right into them.

I remember reading on here someone saying they avtually disliked this group of players. I never felt like that but I now feel the polar opposite to that, aware that they are not perfect but they have such character and charisma and personality, i am willing them on to win because they seem to really CARE. Itd be unfair to single any of them out but im going to; Iredale’s passion, Josh Campbells blue ersed fly antics, Gayles determination. Rockys flawed primetime interventions. SDG is moulding something with this group.

This might not be the best Hibs team but I'm loving every minute of it and can fully get behind the lads. They will all sleep well tonight after a hard fought game with a never say die attitude. Keep it up and we will be chasing down top 4.

If it's all about getting the fans on board THAT is how you do it. Our start was terrible and you could have picked out anybody for being poor in that first 25 minutes. But after that what a turnaround, fight, desire, will to win, or if not then at least a determination to not lose. And we had some decent play as well.
SDG and the players deserve huge credit for that effort today.

A wee shout out to Jordan Smith .... his distribution was excellent, apart from once in the 2nd half, and he pulled off two or three really smart saves.

More of this please Hibs :aok:

Loving the positivity but I disagree - how to do it is turning up from minute one against every team in the league and not waiting until you are 2 down at home to the old firm. I would argue that’s the easiest time to roll the sleeves up.

We are 11th in the league for goals conceded in first 15 minutes….sort that out and keep the recent grit and determination and fans will forgive almost everything. We could have have been 4/5 down easily in first half.

Fantastic 2nd half onwards and a tremendous festive period for the team and SDG.

I'm not disagreeing with that, we really do have to start games better. But in the end it's how you deal with adversity, even if it is self inflicted, that defines the character of a team. Today we showed bags of it, which can only be a positive going forward.

Good post, we all feared the worst after 20min but as you say we somehow clawed our way back in to the game. 💚We might even have won it.

Rangers were excellent in the first 20 min and would have destroyed most teams. They have found some form in the last few weeks and it showed early on today. It’s to our great credit that we were able to come back from that spell and match them for the rest of the game.

It was great today, but we've shown that a few times in the last 8 or so games.

TBH I’m not surprised about the spirit and character in the team at the minute because as a player David Gray IMO had that in spades ..

I wasn’t exactly chuffed when we signed him. Don’t know why. Absolutely love him.

Thought Campbell set the tone when we came out second half with his hassling and scrapping for things. And I thought that was the best I've seen Triantis today.

Iredale goes quite unnoticed a lot of the time. In our defence that, for me, is a good thing.

I always fancied us to score a few today and so did those around me.

We're scoring goals for fun at the moment and that gets the crowd involved and optimistic and makes watching hibs so much more of an enjoyable experience than the rather uninspiring stuff we've been served up over the last few years.

A nice wee stat: we've managed to score three goals in five of our last nine league games. We only scored more than two goals four times in the previous 62 league games.

I’m normally quite critical of Chris, but today he was really good

Couple of brilliant deliveries today
