Anyone that’s picking a keeper and it’s not Andy Goram either don’t realise how brilliant a keeper he was, or never seen him play.

I know ones meant to be a striker but I’d play Latapy as a false striker if it meant getting those three back.

Leighton and Marciano were good, but they were miles behind Goram as a keeper.

Latapy - knew he was class from his very first touch down at Ayr United
Deek - could score from anywhere without thinking.

Goram has been undoubtedly the best keeper at Hibs in my time .

Midfielders we’ve been blessed to have so many really good ones over the years though I’m picking SJM .

Goram is the best keeper I've seen at Hibs
Latapy was a midfield magician who was miles ahead of players around him, he could have 3 players around him and they would still pass to him. Incredibly strong for his size.
Mixu could not only score with head and both feet he also held the ball in and brought other players into play.

Goram was a fantastic goalkeeper but I honestly think that swansong we got out of Leighton was superb. He was easily 15-20 points for us. And during his time with us he gave me one of the best performances from a Scotland keeper (Sweden @ Ibrox - him and Jackson two current Hibs players at the time were the best players on the park.

As much as Roughie and Jim Leighton were great for us , Goram is the best keeper I've seen at Hibs by a country mile so he's my pick for keeper. Sauzee to run the midfield and I'd have a young Scott Brown to play in an advanced role behind the strikers.
