Did I miss something or is he injured?

Went off injured at Parkhead a few weeks back.

Wouldn’t be averse to cancelling his loan and bringing in another striker in January.

I think playing a 352 will suit him much more, especially having someone like Nicky Cadden delivering the ball from wide

Agree hopefully back soon. Shame he wasn’t part of derby win

Sustained a minor groin injury when trying to recover control of the ball after a rhinoceros like touch whilst trying to execute a relatively simple one on one with the keeper at Darkheid. He's due back imminently.

I’d be absolutely fine with that as well. :agree:

He's here!

I wouldn't give up on him just yet. If he comes back into a team playing with confidence he may yet thrive. There was a lot of scepticism around Gray bringing Triantis back a d he's become a big asset.

Very pleased when we got him back this season as he’d been really good first time round, but without going into detail, he’s been a big disappointment. Would now be quite happy for him to go back and try someone else.

Even if he was a decent player we can’t trust him to stay fit for any length of time.

I thought the second goal at Tynecastle showed exactly the sort of thing we miss when he plays.

After getting involved out on the right, Gayle made a beeline for the box to get on the end of Cadden’s cross.

We’ve forced situations like that all season… only to have Myko, often our lone striker, about 30 yards away from being able to get on the end of the cross.

There’s a lot about his game that I like but I have concerns our new found attacking threat will be blunted when he returns.

Gayle's movement, vision and finish for that goal were on a different level to possibly any forward playing in Scotland's top flight. We were blessed to enjoy it because he wouldn't be playing here if he wasn't 35 and struggling to play 90 minutes. I'd hope Myko can learn from him but I'm maybe hoping in vain.

His and Burisic loans should be cut short and replaced. No coincidence our form has changed since both have been replaced.

Myko was still in the side when the form started to turn once we changed shape, even if he should have scored at Parkhead.

He’s not brilliant but nowhere near as weak a link as Bursik was.

Heard a rumour in the pub (pinch of salt required) that hibs are looking to cut his loan deal short and recall Vente

Think this is his first injury since he came back. He’s been involved in just about every game up til then.

Still quite a few would be ok seeing the back of Triantis as well based on some ludicrous comments on here over the past few weeks.

Are you confident it’ll be his last?

Can we be confident about any player not picking up an injury?

Vente and Bowie partnership should be good.

Me too from the wee bit we've seen of him. But having an op on a hamstring sounds like a big deal for an athlete to me and unless our situation becomes desperate I wouldn't be rushing him back and risking him in any way. He's still young and could be a real asset going forward, I would hate to see us, or him, risk what could be a promising future.

No less confident than any other player being injured. If Myko had scored some of the chances he’s missed, I doubt anyone would be using his previous injury record with us as a stick to beat him with. And I don’t think the doubters would be wanting him back down the road either.

We can be more or less confident about certain things, it’s not a binary position.
