Let’s back the team and win 5 in a row…

Cheaper to take two bairns than it is to go myself. Absolutely mad way they do the pricing.
Expect these tickets to fly out now. There will be a big Hibs crowd up.

It’s always a good stadium to take a young fan for a first away game - not too far from Edinburgh and friendly home fans etc.

And the BBC
Yellow warning of snow
Starts:*09:00 GMT on Wed 1 January
Ends:*03:00 GMT on Thu 2 January
Heavy and persistent snow may bring disruption on Wednesday and Wednesday night. - There is a small chance of travel delays on roads with some stranded vehicles and passengers, along with delayed or cancelled rail and air travel - There is a slight chance that some rural communities could become cut off - There is a small chance that power cuts will occur and other services, such as mobile phone coverage, may be affected
Issued at: 11:09 GMT on Sun 29 December
I have memories of a game there, 2pm no snow, 2:45pm game called off because of snow. Don't think the ground staff are going to be working on Wednesday to keep the pitch clear.

Did they not postpone a game last season/season before because of ice and everywhere around the stadium being frozen (pitch was fine). Game was definitely off anyway as I remember thinking here we go again as we've had a few games against them postponed at this time of year. I remember cause my birthday is in January and remember getting stuck in snow outside Perth on my birthday for hours one year and the game being postponed. It's happened a few times since.

One would think St J would act now to release more tickets. Nobody wants to see their home support outnumbered, but we're all football supporters. It's obviously a different story with OF fans, full of sectarian losers who ludicrously play the condescending, supremacist game to gain proxy glory through 'their' winning teams in the hope it gives their sad lives some meaning. Let's hope they don't tar every large travelling support (Jambos can look away here, as this has no relevance to you) with the same brush.

If away fans buy tickets for the home ends it kinda defeats the purpose of segregation

At the risk of sounding like Brendan Rodgers, the club with the lowest budget in the league obviously don’t need the money if they’re happy to sit with one stand completely closed.

Still Hibs fans looking for tickets yet St Johnstone want to leave an entire stand closed and prevent further fans attending.
What a ****ing joke.

Hibs have just announced there are no tickets available and St Johnstone won't be opening the Ormond stand.

Strange them leaving the stand closed when they’ve given it to us in the past.

Stewarding perhaps? Over the holidays.

Ridiculous! We’ve taken bigger supports up there recently when St J have opened the Ormond for us a day or two before the match. If it’s down to staffing costs then how many tickets would they have to sell to cover that? Not that many.

To be fair tickets have been on sale for a while and until last few days still a few hundred to sell. So no Hibs can really moan about not going.
St Johnstone won’t open a full stand plus extra stewards / food etc for few hundred Hibs fans.
Of course it’s a bit silly that a full stand is empty.

I think they could have opened it if they wanted to. Wouldn’t need to have catering and the stewarding wouldn’t be difficult/costly for what it is.
They’ve given us it plenty times before when there’s only been a handful in it. Might just be the case that they don’t want away fans on three sides of the ground given where they are and the importance of the game for them.

I'm no really sure that's the point? People might have last minute plans for whatever reason and want to go to a game , but the home club would rather have empty seats. That makes no sense.

True but Hibs are guilty of empty seats too and making it hard for last minute sales also.
Think Scottish football and clubs have a bigger issue of letting fans attend.
Seems like the days of last minute decisions by fans are gone as clubs are running tight budgets and need to know ahead of time for operations of stand etc.

Exactly. Is there anyone genuinely not got a ticket intending on going?
