I've never been his biggest fan, all the theatrics of falling over far too easily, but today in a position he couldnt afford to **** about in, i thought he was very good.
And even got forward at times creating, and getting shots away.:top marks

Best player on the park for me. You can't go to ground too often at CH so it may suit him

O'Hora doesn't get back in for me. Thought Miller was class today and the position probably suits him more. He's always been good in the air and it's less responsibility to try and make things happen.
Solid game and pleased for him.

On fairly limited evidence he looks a better CB than he does a RB or RWB.

I thought he was good today. Less for him to think about in that position, just deal with what is in front of him.

Thought he was great defensively, but some of his passing was not as good as it shouldve been, absolutely firing passes into people instead of making it easy for them. The wee nutmeg on the run into the box was quality.

Made some brilliant headed clearances from corners. Definitely one of his better games. Well done Miller.

Played really well. Absolute unit of a guy up close. Stays in the team for me next game.

RCB looks like his position. Has all the attributes to thrive there and it minimises his weaknesses. In Miller and Iredale we have two natural distributors at the back, both playing on their strong sides.
Unlucky not to score today.

Played better than he has done recently, but that's not saying much. His positional sense is still shocking, and a better team would have punished us a couple of times in that truly terrible second half.

He made a large number of headers and made plenty tackles and blocks. That suggests his positioning was decent to me. He probably has to resist the urge to go forward quite as often

His defensive headers from the many corners were outstanding. Played really well as did his two fellow back 3 players.

He’s good young player , that’s better suited as a right centrehalf , than a right back.

Stats say he had 8 headed clearances,6 interceptions and 4 recoveries…
Can’t ask for much more than that!

Easily MOM for me.
Has shown a versatility that many never expected and with a limited squad, is a huge bonus.

Thought he was very good today though my MotM was Triantis …
Though that’s not why I’m replying to your post as I think you make a good point about the squad being limited and Miller showing versatility, personally I think he is a good player that we should try and keep.
David Gray is building a strong reputation for slotting round pegs into round holes.

Perfect in a 3 at back today, thought he would be. More than worth keeping around miller, showed his versatility today in windy conditions.

One of his harshest critics but was by far his best performance in a long while today. Probably should have scored in the second half, but aside didn’t put a foot wrong. Another one I’ll happy see prove me wrong!

No miss placed passes today, has it been coached out of him?

Agreed. He’s not asked to do too much at Cb other than to defend which he’s decent at especially in the air. It’s when he’s asked to play football up and down the wing that I think he lacks quality

He defended well from that position, and was a threat when he came forward. Easily my MOM.

Felt more at ease with him there rather than o’hora who I still think is adjusting his game.

Not really getting the love in here. He was ok, but he still gives me the fear. Even when he has a decent game he's more than likely to be the one playing passes intercepted to let the other team break on us.

I just don’t think O’Hora is very good. Was prepared to give him the benefit of the doubt when he was playing left centre back but now in his preferred position I don’t think he looks any better. Miller keeps the jersey in that position for me now.

I'm with you!
I think standards have been generally so appalling that folk are now misinterpreting "less mistakes" as "really good". Similar chat on another thread about the goalie who gives me the fear every time he looks at the ball.

Had him down as a big huddy, but after his performance against Kilmarnock, I'm prepared to think again.

Needs to learn to not let the ball bounce when he could deal with it first time especially around our own box. To be fair he’s not the only one

Good young player that we will be able to sell on to Italian football in a few years time for a few million.

He has brilliant attributes but at RB he switches off and lets people in behind IMO (as does Cadden tbf). Perhaps at RCB there is less scope for this to happen - hopefully SDG gives him a wee run there as O'Hora just really lacks defensive instincts IMO, which is a bit unfortunate for a defender.

Don’t forget he had a couple of digs at goal as well, I think that was his best performance in Hibs shirt.
Would happily see him kept in the side at RCB.

He was very impressive on Sunday. he is another young player learning his trade, definitely had a dip in form earlier in season, who didn't though, and will be prone to mistakes for a while yet. Again we will struggle to get two better players than him in our current budget, and I think he will improve lots over season if given right opportunities, and at that point will be probably difficult to replace.
Lets accentuate the positives for another couple of weeks also.
