I think it was a protype that was ultimately rejected. It was doing the rounds of Twitter a while back along with one from the LCS days as well.

I think the guy that runs Hibernian Retro nowadays had got his hands on them.

It’s not a prototype or limited edition. Saw it on eBay and couldn’t believe the price the seller is after. They were sold in the clubstore for £30 I think and were a cheaper rugby version of the shirt. No idea why we did this but I remember them vividly. Hope no one is caught out by this thinking it’s something it’s not.

I remember this in the shop it was a heavy material like the Scotland Rugby shirts - was the club shop and our macron shirts not supplied in by the same company who did the SRU

Never been worn by any Hibs team….best guess it was made up for an Amateur team, that wanted an all green top, and then had a badge sewn onto it. Might even have been one of the older Edina Hibs sides.

An Umbro template from the early eighties but it’s not worth £440 , looks like a parent has sown on a badge to make a hibs top for someone
