What a marvellous morning it is today… **** the yams.

anyway, I am particularly excited with the prospect of Bowie returning to what is already a good team.

I think Bowie can only improve with Gayle as his mentor, what an opportunity for a young man to learn from one of the masters of his chosen position, I would be in favour of offering Gayle a coaching position going forward.

a forward line rotating Youan, Gayle, Bowie , Boyle is something to savour.

the future is bright, the future is GREEN.

I’m looking forward to more quality being added in the window. After the recent turn around not 100% exactly where we are screaming out for new players. But maybe a forward who can bring in 10 goals before the end of the season, a creative mid and a right winger.

Hopefully we see them in early doors

I agree, but from what we saw of Bowie before his injury, I reckon we have a real powerhouse who will only improve as he gets more games and advice from Gayle.

He’s coming back from a serious hamstring injury though. I don’t think we can/should expect or put too much pressure on him. Myko unfortunately has failed to really do anything this time round and is injured again so I think we need one more body in there

What a difference getting some breaks makes. Fortune has not been kind with VAR and injuries on a scale I can’t recall being as bad but we’ve persevered.

Imagine if we’d had less of a bumpy ride? Lessons learned for sure. That was the gamble I suppose.

its good to have some well founded causes for optimism. I don’t know about you by that does give me a wee lift in my outlook in general daft thou it may seem - can remember when we got beat by Celtic in 88 when Archie scored the consolation goal I had a black cloud over me for 2 weeks! I’m a bit better now tho!

Killie at home on Sunday is another big game. We’ll be on such a high from yesterday and the players put so much in I wouldn’t be surprised if they were a bit flat/tired. Mcinnes will be saying that to his players anyway and they’ll make it an absolute fight and chuck loads of crosses into our box, they’ll be full of confidence after a 4-0 win too.

I’m just hoping that after our recent run of form we continue it into the new year and improve the squad in some key areas. For me a goalie, centre half, number 10/creative attacking midfielder and a striker still urgently required.

Hopefully players now see we’re on the up and we can get them in, when a month ago they might have had doubts

Having hit rock bottom at the start of November I always felt if we could find a way to win a match then we could start to rebuild confidence and climb the table. The danger was that the wheels could come off completely if the manager had lost the dressing room and we went into freefall. The reality is that outwith the top two the standard of the league is abysmal and none of them looked noticeably better than us.

I’m not sure there will be much movement into the squad in the window. I think that the club will be looking towards next season and they’ll be trying to trim our bloated squad and maybe add one or two first picks who will improve the squad. I don’t think spending scarce resources on short term loans is the way forward unless they think relegation is still on the cards.
