Just want to say what a great effort from all the volunteers at Easter Road today.
Feeding 330 Xmas meals at the stadium. Delivering 180 meals in and around Edinburgh.
Many people who received a meal, commented that the only people they would see today were the ones at the stadium or the delivery drivers 😢.

Also an appearance from the Sir David,Joe Newell, Ian Gordon,Malky McKay, various other players & Sky Sports.

Brilliant stuff from the club/the foundation and indeed well done to all the clubs who do similar. A particular well done to the volunteers, including players, coaches, owners and other club staff who gave up their time on a day when it would he easy to make excuses.

Football clubs really are so much more than 11 guys on a pitch every Saturday.

Quite humbling after spending a family day enjoying the festivities to see pictures from the Community Foundation Party where time given up by volunteers and high profile Hibs staff to give others a day to cherish.

Fantastic.

Absolutely brilliant. A lot of the time, this kind of activity is overlooked. Well done to everyone involved including the owners 👏 👍

Have read a lot about how the club has lost it's community spirit.

This event would seriously suggest otherwise which makes me very happy.

Newell and Ian Gordon seem to be ever present at this sort of thing, and as PB says above its a great effort given how little down time they get at this time of year, its a real great thing for all of the football people involved in days like this.

I assume in addition to these guys there will be people behind the scene organising these and making sure they work, hats off, no small job normally, fantastic credit to them, and as people say as long as this is going on under Hibs name, with their blessing, no one should be criticising club for their community stuff.
