Will the brave boys of Perth prevail today, or the giant foreheads, who failed so miserably against our Moldovan Heroes.
Let’s hope for many pulled hamstrings for Xmas, and the corrugated iron stands, can withstand the wind, and the groans that greet every passback, from our cash Rich chums.

Hopefully Hearts heroic draw in Europe on Thursday doesn't spur them on today

Why don’t the media darlings have the El Sackio handle applied to this one or woukd
they ever have such a handle applied to them ?

Just read a few threads on kickback, some want Gordon replaced in goals, they are nuts.

This is one of those games where you know a draw is best for us (we aren't out of trouble yet), but I just can't get myself to wish for Them to do anything other than loose. Cheering on St. J to take the points and cause an injury or two......if our world famous neighbours sneak a draw then I will console myself in that technically its the best result for us.

He and Shankland have carried them over a number of years. Now they are both off the boil they are absolutely rotten. We had the same situation with Leigh Griffiths a few years back.

El Sackio is normally when the losing manager is expected to get sacked. St J won’t be sacking their manager. Can’t see Hearts getting rid of Critchley already either

I would like to see us put in a bid for Shankland in the winter, just to put him back on his career path.

I actually think Gordon has been good, still making ridiculous saves, that other goalkeepers wouldn’t get near.
He was absolutely brilliant against Copenhagen.
He’s the least of their problems.

100% St Johnstone win today please.

I’d absolutely love it if St Johnstone took an early lead just to hear the amazing atmosphere ringing around tiny like the other night :greengrin

Don’t disagree - they should be careful what they wish for, we’ve not recovered in the GK department since losing Marciano who is still way off Craig Gordon’s level. They’ll hate whoever is in next!

He's here!

A draw would be fine but a St J win would be better to further dent morale at Hearts and ramp up the rage in the stands. Be great to see them still bottom of the league going into the new year.

As a Hibs fan Gordon gives me a problem. He is a great player for Them so I want to hate him but he is even better for Scotland and that makes me want to love him.....gives me a headache.

Hopefully. If St Johnstone could get a result it puts them and Critchley under some pressure going into the derby in all.

Cmon our plucky neighbours, lets see some of that somme spirit. Alternatively, imagine you are in a boxing day sale queue at the driving glove outfitter and youre trying to elbow past Shelley Kerr while worrying about your Rover outside on a double yellow. Lets see your identity boys.

I like Craig Gordon, just a shame he is a hearts fan.
Great keeper for them and Scotland, and has never really indulged in the kind of crap that Gary Locke does.

Guys a cheating ****, dived / feigned injury Boxing Day 2006 to get Shiels sent off.

Also to blame for not collecting a cross from (very) deep vs England, costing Scotland a historic win.

**** him.

Ps hope the Perth saints do the job today 👍

Any result today has benefits for us. Bigger picture would be to see St Johnstone and Ross County detached at the bottom, but seeing Hump of Midlothian getting heartsed is always good

In case there’s any doubt, I hope the mighty hearts get hammered, and finish with players straight red carded, with injured players laying prostate on the ground after being attacked by a baying mob, of hearts/rangers ultras, clad in black .

They basically can't score and our goalkeeper was terrible. Whilst Smith has given us a bit of respite post his debut, I expect both clubs to address these areas in the window. I think that come the end of the season it's not impossible that Hibs and our noisy neighbours will both be in the Top 6 with the bottom three, in no particular order, being Kilmarnock, St Johnstone and Ross County

Don't know if we could afford the costs associated with his pie bill..... If we could pay him in pies however, might be worth a shout!

Can't imagine any contract offer being as generous as the one he received last year, unless off course he signs for Gregg's works team 👀😂
