The change of shape has allowed us to find the perfect position for him. When playing the 4 at the back he was never going to be at left back and I don’t think the left wing position suited him either.

Nicky was celebrating tackling Shaydon Morris who left him for dead to set up the 3rd Aberdeen goal at Easter Road.
He had obviously thought about it and was determined to stop Morris if he came on yesterday and that was the moment it came to pass. Brilliant.

Nice to see that attitude today throughout the team, eg Obita and Rocky high fiving Obita bossing the hearts player to shield the ball out. Simple stuff, but made sure we dominated them overall. Joe Newell put in two fantastic crosses too and a nice quick free kick loft into Youan - the deliveries from wide were excellent today.

Exactly the same for me.

We’ve found a position for him now which is different to the one he was playing initially and he’s so much better for it.

The quality of his crossing is as good as I’ve seen from a Hibs player in a long time.

Let’s not forget Chris is also a quality player. The Caddens ran hearts ragged, for long periods, down both sides of the pitch. Especially in the first half hearts had no answers.
