Six points off top six. Another season where very few teams are having a good one. If we can find momentum and let Garvan Stewart find some gems to strengthen in January then we’re not far off being in a more decent place.

When you look at the goal difference of the teams around us.. you can see that bottom was a false position. Don’t get me wrong, we aren’t very good. But 7th or 8th is about right for the season so far. An improved 2nd half of the season and we could end up 6th or 5th ( I said “could”).

Lol will only get confident when we can string two consecutive wins

Well we've done the next best thing. We were never beating Celtic - so we've won our last two games not involving them. Scoring six in the process too.

The price on hibs making top six will be tumbling :-)

Should have been 4 for us as well. Not bad when you haven't even played well.

Yes playing terrible and winning is not the worst habit you can get into

Playing terrible, but still miles better than R.C , get some momentum behind us and we can easily make top 6

And given the amount of times RC players were on the deck holding their heads in feigned injury I think it’s time to take Rugby’s lead and have a TMO if a player goes down holding their head Or the ref suspects a head injury, they need to come off and be medically assessed , or substituted for their own protection

The most annoying thing about the fixtures is it’s really hard to get 2 wins together let alone 3 and go on a “run”.

Every game is massive till the split especially against teams currently in bottom 6.

We seem to play better against top 6 teams though we need points from these games too where possible.

Happy to be off the bottom of table - Ross County will have to come back to ER probably so hopefully another 3 points off them.

Went from 12th to 8th today. Keep that rate of progress up and we'll be top by the end of the year.

If somebody had said before the Aberdeen game that we were going to get 7 points from the next four games... one of which being Celtc away... I would have been very sceptical.

Actually managing that is a massive positive for me.

OK, yesterday wasn't a great performance but if you can have a mix of games like the away win at Motherwell, where we were very good, and yesterday's 'getting lucky' but still win, then that'll do for me.

Did the same bet after the Celtic game. Into 4’s now

Happy we’re off the bottom. Next step is to try and get a bit of a gap points wise. Other than Aberdeen, it’s all teams currently below us we play over Christmas. At least a couple of wins should have us moving away from trouble.

Before Aberdeen at home we were in real danger of being cast away from the main body of bottom 6 sides. In 4 games we've won 2, drawn one and only lost to Celtic. It's been a mixed bag of the good, the bad and the ugly but credit where it's due...coming home from Dundee away I couldn't see that happening.

There's character there - Nicky Cadden probably catalyst in recent weeks but more players contributing, too. NOT happy with the regime above SDG but never want our club to be relegated.
