The Glasgow auctioneer McTears are auctioning this George Best curiosity on Dec 13th in their sports auction. Its estimate is high and frankly who knows what its worth. May be of interest?

I'm certain that egg used to be on display in Belfast City Airport.

Pretty sure I seen it in the Hampden museum a couple of years back too.
Remember being a wee bit confused as to why it was there, rather than in a Man Utd museum / NI.
If only it was Easter instead of Christmas.

They might be made of gold and be worth a fortune, but Faberge eggs really are tacky crap… Franklin Mint like tat. Horrible.
