I noticed on X that Block Seven and the James Connolly HSC are organising a food and toy collection before Saturday's game. Collection point at the advertising boards on the corner behind the FF Stand.

This didn't really get much traction on here but well done to the lads.

I've been first to criticise them so credit where it is due. Looked like they got a decent response and handing out selection boxes to the kids was a nice touch as well.

Also backed the team from first to last in the ground even when it was hard going.

As someone who's been disappointed with B7s actions in the past well done to them yesterday and their JC branch partners on this initiative.

They seemed to be accumulating a fair amount of foodstuff to distribute to the less fortunate and great to see supporters continuing the charitable ethos of our founding fathers.
