Just a heads up if you're travelling to the game today that the weather through here is pretty nasty.

It's stopped raining (for now) but the wind is wild.

Hopefully won't affect the game too much

But, be ready for match abandoned if Hibs leading in final stages :greengrin

The conditions will certainly not suit our fluent passing game.

Absolutely. A dreadful, wind-lashed 0-0 would be great.

Really? We got off at Queen Street an hour and a half ago and walked round to the pub and it seemed fine. Looking out the window just now it doesn’t look particularly wet or anything.

It was the wind that was bad earlier.

Though it seems to have died down a bit now

Anyone remember this one?

Controversy aside, what a truly magnificent Hibs kit that was.

Incidentally, that story about Jimmy Johnstone at the top is interesting. I never knew he was only 31 when Celtic released him.

Will be a great leveller.

So 4-0 Celtic.

So they were at it as far back as 50 years ago as well.

Just read a wee bit about it. 2-0 up then abandoned at the 85th minute. Crazy stuff.

If the weather is really bad and a leveller then 0-0 at 33/1 might be worth a shilling.

Obita virtually undroppable….

Anyone any idea where Nicky Cadden plays in this formation?

Wouldn't the game have played to a finish long before too if Celtic fans hadn't invaded the pitch twice?

Judging by our last few games there, Celtic will go 1-0 up within ten minutes and the game will be over

Where Hoilett played last week I imagine

Seems wild moving him from a position he’s been thriving in at left wing back

Oh FFS. He's been gash all season. Results improved when he was out the team.

I agree although he’s more of an attacking wing back than defensive one

So angry at the time (still a wee bit even now, every time the story resurfaces) and I was only 12

I reckon it will be more like a 541 how we finished the game last week

To clarify, it’s fine, not nasty. A typical Scottish day with the odd bit drizzle and a slight wind.

What is it with society and the constant scaremongering.

Yes, game was held up for 10 mins after a pitch invasion.
Those were the days of the teleprinter results service on a Saturday and well after the normal finishing time the result came through as Celtic 0 Hibs 2 and then it hovered for a moment before in brackets up came , ( match abandoned 85mins) :furious:

Just in a taxi along from Parkhead and seems a pretty decent day for football. In December, in Scotland.

Word on the street here is that a large number of Celtic fans may not be able to get to the game today given the travel disruption caused by Storm Darragh.

Officials telling me traffic and footfall around the stadium is noticeable quieter than usual. Interesting to see to what extent the stadium fills up.
