My first season in years in the west stand and usually park at meadowbank retail park if I’m not going for a pot. Will the gate into the west be shut for a while after the game and I’d be better off parking in lochend?

Another occasion sadly where the visiting fans are prioritised over home fans by getting the red carpet rolled out for them.

Thanks folks, as much as I thought. Might still park there and walk through butterfly way on the way back

Can you park there no bother without charges or is there a fee payable?

You get 4 hours I think.

To be fair if you leave at half time with everyone else you'll also avoid the gates being shut

Slight tangent, but does anyone know if the gate between the South and East is open prior to the game for a Cat A fixture? I usually park at Meadowbank and come in that way.

Is parking at the Links still an option or has it been metered?

It's closed according to the supporter update. However nothing on there re the West gates. No doubt leaving that till the last minute as per the Motherwell game.

I've only been turned away once for a Cat A game on teh way to the game. Police at the start of the lane down the railway turning back anyone in Hibs colours. Shoppers and Jambos were fine so presume it was just a couple of officers looking to noise Hibs fans up. It is too long a wait after games now, particularly as we have normal been beaten so the away fans hang around. I park at Lochend now for Cat As
