4 goals-it's like a sketch out of Only Fools..we are the ONLY team in the league that can ship four goals in a game we can't afford to lose. We are soft as putty and there are no excuses for that. Any adversity and we just chuck in the towel. What a sorry state we are in!!

I'm sure they'll be gutted about losing 4 goals to a team that romps the league every season while scooping up all of the domestic cups. If Dundee can do the same amount of damage to us, imagine what Celtic are going to do next time they come calling.

When you’re down to 10 you’re going to give up the ball at times and it’s going to be hard. But the nature of the goals we concede is disgusting.

Cadden for the first, pish. Triantis, heading in to his own net from a corner, pish. The goalie for the third, beyond pish. Rocky losing the ball for the fourth, pish.

None of the goals were down to us having 10 men, we just can’t do the most basic things defensively.

Just that we aren’t the ONLY team to lose 4 goals in a game that can’t be afforded to be lost … Killie are also in a precarious situation and have lost 4 be it to Celtic again , 3 against St Johnstone at home and Ross County have lost 6 against the huns . O and hertz lost 3 against motherwell too . It’s not just us that’s having bad results is my point.

Yes, I think we are so depressed with the way things are, some of our arguments ignore some of the factors. While I’ve no sympathy with team yesterday, it’s not logical to focus on the errors before the goals and ignore the fact that we were down to 10 men. We will never know whether it would have been different had we had 11, but before the sending off we looked impressive. (Before someone is desperate to point it out - yes, it was only 12 minutes!)

Doing a wee bit of research on red cards in our league this season and normally no matter when it happens the team that generally goes down to ten men lose .. I roughly make it that the ten men so far have lost 14 games , drawn 2 and won 1 ..

We have had 4 sent off in the league ..3 defeats and a draw… Killie have had 5 sent off .. 4 defeats and a draw.. St Johnstone 3 sent off .. 3 defeats .. I think .

Thought for the first ten minutes or so we were good and in control . After we scored we could have scored another 1 or 2 though the sending off absolutely turned the game on its head . That’s not excusing individual performance afterwards though.

My memory might be playing tricks but was that not John Blackleys last game as manager? I remember the chant's of 'Blackley must go' from three sides and 'Blackley must stay' from the Dunbar end.
I'm astonished Grey has survived that, someone said the players look uninterested, not nearly as uninterested as the board if they are happy to let that go.

Plenty teams would have went down to 10 and not just capitulated the way we did though. Some of the mistakes were nothing to do with having 10 on the park. We simply can’t do the basics.

Correct. They’re all chancers. Came out and ran about a wee bit at the start of the second half once it was all too late. Makes it look like they’ve kept going or whatever. No matter how long there was to play, we had something to hold on to after the red card. It was no surprise that about 15 minutes later we didn’t have anything to hold on to. Plus they’d hit the bar, hit the post and the goalie had made a good save (no jokes with the last bit) in addition to the two goals they did score in that period.

It was a direct response to the opening post though. We factually weren’t even the only team to lose 4 goals that day in a position where we can’t really afford to lose.

I don't care what other teams are doing in other games in the league. MY team is Hibs and until we learn how to fight and 'tough it out' in games we'll continue to get nowhere. It took us 10 minutes to go under against DUNDEE! As Callum said it's about desire. Plenty teams go down to 10 but don't fold like a pack of cards.
