After the capitulation against Dundee Utd last month, the only positive I could see is that there was still plenty of time to get away from the bottom of the league.
Here were are now a month on and everything in and around the club is worse. The points gap between us and safety, discipline and professionalism on the park and mood within the Hibs support. That's before even throwing in the murky episode of Derek White.
We have less time now. The number one priority is not to finish bottom of the league.
Gray has to be sacked before Tuesday. I don't think there is any Hibs supporter left who wants him to remain. You can provide some excuses but he is not up to it. Ian Gordon and Kensell have to take a step back immediately. Ian Gordon has to place the club up for sale, which I know will take some time and leave the footballing affairs to the Black Knight guys who are at the club.
I'm not saying the Black Knights will be our saviour, I wish they weren't here in the first place. But, there is no quick fix to our problems in the long term. The only hope I can see for us not to be relegated is a shock to how the footballing side is run to get out of the downward spiral we are in.
