It wasn’t him that failed to make a sub when we went down to 10 men

Made 2 defensive changes when we went 2-1 down

Wanted Triantis over an experienced defensive mid from Lorient

Continues to play Bursik

Quite clearly isn't based on this one game or this one season.

Cool.

He appointed him though. And the last one. And the last one. And the last one.

No, but the threads created about Gordon, Kensell etc after every defeat are mind numbing for me

Yes they have to take a lot of responsibility. But what we’ve seen this season from manager and players isn’t good enough

Given his level of business acumen, I’d assume he’s strongly considering an offer of magic beans.

He's been at a lot of games, then when the **** well and truly hit the fan he hasn't been seen at a game?

You'd think the owner of the club would be here showing leadership and accountability.

Have you seen him 😂 he’s a lost wee boy handed a football club and isn’t interested. Privileged little boy who looks like he’d struggle to fight sleep and would still want tucked in at night with a bed time story. Their whole family have utterly ruined our club.

I think it is possible to comment on how well or otherwise the ownership
Is doing without this nonsense.

Being part of a family business isn’t unusual or something in itself to be criticised for.

It’s absolutely not nonsense. Look at the state of the club, look at his demeanour, look at results, look at his completely uncomfortable media interviews. You employ the best for the job, nepotism has resulted in utterly inept leadership ! It’s not nonsense at all - lol at the table, the last 4 years, and the lack of success.

Without realising we had this thread, I created an Ian Gordon thread which has been deleted rather than moved to this one. I’ve asked for an explanation on that one. Very strange.

Absolutely fine to criticise how that ownership is doing but the personal abuse isn’t warranted.

It was deleted because by the time I removed the vile personal abuse aimed at a human being and the threats of abusive behaviour towards that person as well as the words removed by the swear filter there wasn't much left. Normally infractions would kick in but we are all on high emotions at the moment so I was lenient. Happy to discuss privately

😂 I’ll criticise who I want thank you and he is employed by the club through ownership and nepotism. They’ve been utter failures and the facts objectively back that up. On and off the pitch. He’s unqualified, should never be near any role in the club, and his family have ripped the soul out the club. I really don’t care if you think otherwise, the facts are there to be seen. His interviews have been terrible, he is and looks meek, and he looks disinterested - don’t know your circumstances but I’ve two boys and I’m retired, but there’s no way they were getting any hand on my investments as they had/have no qualifications to do so. They’ll get it when I go to the big guy in the sky. Until then, my investments go to qualified people with experience 👍 it’s due diligence! And yes, he looks like a wee laddie given an unwanted Christmas present tossed aside 👍 don’t think I’d even trust him choosing my Malbec.

Im sure Ian Gordon was at the game tonight, he was standing in front of the stand with whom I think was the Dundee Chairman/Owner whilst the officials were deliberating the fog issue. Unless he has a doppelgänger.

He lost his father to a sudden illness. He's ended up in a position which he more than likely didn't want.
I would imagine he'd love a positive way out of it.
It would be like you inheriting a water polo team from Azerbaijan

It seems he does want to stick around:

"He worked as Hibs' Head of Recruitment and is now learning off the Club’s CEO to understand the difference facets involved in running a Football Club."

It's like having an intern owning the company and trying his hand wherever he wants. He'll be registered as a keeper soon. Can't be any worse then the current first choice.

If I inherited a business in those circumstances I’d do due diligence and appoint someone to take it off my hands given I’ve absolutely no clue about that business or industry and given we are a going concern - which is exactly what they should have done. It’s now a family folly. Support and club utterly divided, running huge losses, football appalling, no player assets, diminishing season ticket sales, apathy running from top to toe, awful manager and squad.

Glad I’m retired and definitely not investing in water polo in any country soon. For the reason you infer, I know hee haw about water polo 😂

I’m still optimistically hoping that this is indicative of something bigger going on behind the scenes.

I’ll start to worry when he’s back attending matches.

Incidentally, anyone know if Kensall was there yesterday? If he wasn’t there did we have anyone from the board in attendance to see for themselves what a ****ing mess this is?
