We all know what's coming. Why we didn't just do it last week is anyone's guess.

No question it should’ve been the end after St Mirren.

Bar maybe 2-3 In during the January window this squad are going to have to see us through a relegation battle.

The manager we appoint over the next week or so needs to have a track record of lifting players with zero belief or confidence. These players have been badly coached for months. That doesn’t change overnight, we need someone to lift them first and foremost then get their philosophy across as we progress.

Without a doubt.

The frustrating thing is this site was almost in unanimous agreement that it was needed which is very rare. Can’t fathom why the club felt differently.

Agreed. If it wasn't done after a humiliation at home, I'll be surprised if it's done after a pumping away.

This team is by far and the worst Hibs team I've ever seen. Worst than the Calderwood/Butcher squad that went down. Absolutely gutless, zero heart. Absolutely wage thief's like Youan who only care about themselves. We have wasted 2 weeks and capitulated another 3 points continuing with this farce. I feel for the fans that have braved the weather going up to Dundee tonight. Shameful

I wouldn't be confident in them doing anything following this result either.

If this gets worse, as will be likely, then I think they’ll have a decision made before FT.

4 points adrift of 10th and in danger of being cut adrift. The search starts tomorrow morning, but
I suspect that search has been already underway in the last couple of weeks and we will see a new manager sooner than we think.

Of course we should. We have eyes.

Of course we should. Whilst I feel sorry for him for the red card, taking Nicky Cadden off there is baffling

He hasn’t got a clue

Serious overhaul needed in January yet again.

It is a massive concern where the club go from here. We are rapidly getting through managers and still not building anything that can lead to any sort of consistent success.

With this current squad the new manager is on a hiding to nothing unless we get very lucky in January and can ship a load out. I fear even the new guy could be gone by the summer if relegation happens.

Another appointment from the same team that brought us the last 4 car crash managers.

The problems at this club run far deeper

The squad is utter mince. It's just nonsense when folk keep saying they're underperforming. They're not underperforming. They're just useless

Agreed. I think they just kept Gray in position till an alternative was arranged. Things have unraveled so quickly that it could still take some time. Hopefully not.

Because we are run by total muppets.

Same with Monty - should be sacked after not making top 6 then still got a few games then sacked.

Zero leadership from this soft shambles of a club.

Sheep, Motherwell and Celtic next 3 games, be lucky to scrape 1 point

The most Hibs thing ever to pretend that Gray still had a chance of avoiding the sack and then do it immediately after a two week break.

An absolutely ****ing nonsensical appointment.

Our 150th anniversary year in the Championship would like that to hold its beer.
