Apologies, I think I start a post similar to this every year with a different club involved every time.
I’m thinking of getting my boy on a European away day for a Christmas present for him (and me). He loves the whole ultras scene and he’s mentioned before the Ajax lads are good at what they do, combined with cheap flights it seems like a decent option.
Working my way through their website is an absolute minefield, I appear to have a few options, wait and hope for the best closer to the time, buy a hotel package next to the stadium that seems overpriced but appealing all the same or go through viagogo where affordable tickets can be bought, but seem to contradict the official website saying you need to provide ID to access the stadium.
In short, and in hindsight I could have got to this point quicker, but has anyone on here got tickets for them before and got any hints/tips? Wee bit reluctant to book flights until I have a better idea of how realistic it is I will get tickets.
If it makes a difference, the weekend I’m looking at going they are playing Go Ahead Eagles which I imagine isn’t too big a fixture for them?
