I'm sad to pass on the news that 'Peevemor', Steven McDonaugh who posted on both hibs.net and the Hibees Bounce at various times has passed away. Steve was posting until very recently on the Bounce, up to the point he became more unwell and went into palliative care. Unfortunately, Steve passed on 25th October, aged just 57 years,

On the Bounce, there is a thread dedicated to him, which he contributed to whilst he was still with us. You can find it here:
https://www.hibeesbounce.com/threads/peevemor.142669/

His orbituary page is here. Steve lived in France: https://avis-de-deces.ouest-france.fr/20241022/steven-mcdonaugh-2271659/

Posters on the Bounce are having a collection in Steve's memory. If you would like to contribute to the memory of our fellow Hibernian, please do. Attempts are being made to contact his family in order to determine a suitable contribution for him. You can find paypal details for this on page 5 of the thread above.

If the Moderators at hibs.net would be willing to become involved that would be welcomed.

Thank you.

Rest in Peace, Steven McDonaugh 'Peevemor'.

Stu, the link doesn't work unless logged in to The Bounce.

Thanks for informing us of Steve's passing.

Shared a couple of PM's with Steve. Persevere really was his life motto.
He was always incredibly positive about his illness and life despite knowing he didn't have long
It was obvious he loved his family very much with music and Hibs his obsessions.

Agreed with his posts on here about Hibs which were again balanced, honest and positive.
Was lobbed from .net and moved to the Bounce where he posted until near the end.

RIP Steve, Champion Piper, Husband, Father and Brother, Hibee, Netter and Bouncer.

That's really sad news, I always enjoyed reading his posts on here while he still posted here. He always seemed like a poster with a "glass half full" attitude in the main.

I exchanged a number of PM's with Peeve while building my house and he offered really helpful advice to me.
