*All info taken from Transfer market and could be off*
On Loan:
Bursic
Triantis
Kwon
Myko
Out of Contract this summer:
Boruc
Rocky Bushiri
Lewis Miller (club have a 1 year option)
Chris Cadden
Kenneh
JDH
Amos
Junior Holliet
Boyle (1 year option, not sure if it’s the club or player who can trigger)
McKirdy
Gayle
In contract:
2026 expiry:
Jordan Smith
Iredale
Dylan Levitt
NMH (club have a 1 year option)
Rudi
Ellie Youan
Obita
2027 expiry:
Marv Ekpiteta
O’Hora
Nicky Cadden
Joe Newell
Josh Campbell
2028 expiry:
Bowie
Out of the Loan players I wouldn’t even consider trying to keep a single one.
Of the out of contract players I would consider an extra year for Obita and Miller but far from certain about either. No one else comes close IMO.
The rest are a bit more irrelevant for now but if we can sell Youan and sell or mutually loose NMH and Smith I’d be happy with that too.
That leaves us very close to a clean slate going into next season. The main battle now is surviving this season to be in the top flight next year to take advantage of the clean slate.
Marv and Bowie are good enough IMO. Rudi has potential. Holliet and Gayle are too but will probably be too old for another year.
Levitt, O’Hora, Iredale and Nicky Cadden are all have me on the fence and Newell is probably here to stay.
*Edited to correct Campbell and Obita*

2 players you have down as out of contract, Obita & Campbell, signed extensions.
Gayle won't be renewed due to his hamstring issues as well as his age. He's only here as temporary cover for Bowie.
Of the OOC players Miller is the only one I would keep because he won't be on a big wage. He can battle it out with Megwa next season for the right back spot.
The OOC players plus the loan players leaving at the end of May will save Hibs circa 60k a week!

I missed that. Campbell until 2027. Who made that decision!
Obita until 2026 doesn’t bother me.

If everyone of today’s squad left tomorrow I wouldn’t shed a tear. Quite simply one of the worst set of players I’ve seen in almost 70 years following the club. Gray will carry the can but I pity his replacement trying to achieve anything with this shower of duds and imposters.

I’m being completely honest, not one of them. Bowie maybe but he doesn’t count as not played.
But seriously, I’d clear every single one of this lot from board room, to dugout’s , and every player. They are individually and collectively a complete and utter embarrassment/disgrace.
I have never in my entire time supporting Hibernian been so disillusioned and frankly bored of watching this club.
I might sound annoyed but sadly, I’m not. I’m so monumentally fed up that i don’t care any more. I’m as close as I’ve ever been to not renewing my season ticket. I genuinely applaud the happy clappers and optimists in our support, fair play, I was one of you in the past but not any more.

Campbell won't be on big money so not a vast problem.
Could see Hibs giving him a few quid and him moving to the likes of Dundee Utd in January.

You aren't alone - I think today many fans patience has finally run out.
Major change is needed if we are to turn this around - zero faith in anyone to improve it.
Zero connection with any of the players - several loan players like Bursik who don't care about the club. A club captain who rarely inspires - a manager who has us bottom of the league and a load of folk behind the scenes getting paid for failing at their job.
Fans deserve better!

Yep that was the list I was going to type out although I haven't seen enough of NC to give an opinion really.
No idea how anyone could want any of the others to stay.

Has anyone got any empathy with this squad? I certainly haven’t.
When we went through desperate times like this in the past we still had some players in the side we could relate to but this lot do absolutely nothing for me. They may wear Hibs jerseys but that is where the resemblance ends.

Regardless of what division we are in not one player is good enough to play at Hibernian Football club. This is the worst team I have seen since we got relegated in 1980

We’ve almost a first team including subs out of contract - it’s showing. Not any of them care a jot as they know some other sucker club will give them a deal. Not one would make a difference to our predicament either. The ownership and recruitment team at our club are an utter embarrassment.
Sooner the Gordon’s are hounded out the better - they’ve destroyed this club since taking over, on and off the park.

Agreed mate. We were discussing in our group today - who is your favourite player?
The general consensus was Boyle for the simple fact he is a Scottish cup winner and for all his goals/moments in the past. But none of us could care less about the rest of them. No connection, actively dislike the majority. Really sad.

A lot of folk pinning their hopes on young Bowie.
He cost circa 600k and will be on a good weekly wage.
Looked good in his 70 minutes of Hibs league action. I make that a very expensive 70 mins.
Best hope he doesn't turn out to be our latest permacrock.
More likely Dunbar United

Megwa, Bowie, Rudi are the only ones that I would genuinely keep at this point.
You could make a case for someone like Obita but if he decided he had enough and wanted to move back down south I wouldn't stop him either.
A horrible squad overall.

Same here.
We could probably list about 50 names of people we’d happy to see leave the club, from first team to board level.
Even yesterday’s thread about a protest, all it ended up being was apathetic.

I’d add Marv to the keep list, potentially Nicky Cadden. Other than that I fully agree. Totally sick of the rest of our contracted players and I’m delighted so many are out of contract this summer coming.

Correct. It would be harsh to ditch him.
However, you could replace every single one of the others and not miss them in the slightest. We must be one of the most anonymous squads around.

It's honestly astonishing that you can run through about 26 different players and have a good 90% consensus that they're not good enough. A total disgrace of a football organisation at the moment.
