Assumes McInnes would be remotely interested in the Hibs job. He's probably hanging on for when The Rangers sack Clement.

"Appoint McInnes" ?
He's just sitting about waiting to be appointed manager of the worst side in the country is he ?
Unseen work

I know people won’t want Mccinnes or half the managers in the SPFL
But any semi decent and experienced manager would make us much better imo
Whether it be McInnes, Robinson, Kettlewell etc
That’s not to say we should go for them btw

The board don’t want to appoint a manager who might publicly come out and speak against them.
They want yes men.
No-one who’s going to rock the boat.

Sure he said this week he'd love the Scotland job in the future. He'd have to have Hibs winning cups, doing well in Europe and being best of the rest with Hibs to realise his dream. Can't see him taking on the Hibs job.

It’s a waste of time starting yet another thread about McIness. Unless there are radical changes from top to bottom, which there won’t be, he is completely out of the question.

If you liked Ross you’ll love McInnes.
Dons fans will save folks the bother and angst in gokng through the McInnes experience.
The knives wound be out and he’d not last much beyond a season. It’s a No from me.
Thing is we have (and it’s completely understandable) run out of patience no matter who comes in.
We need instant impact.

But he plays long ball football? Not the Hibs way?!

That is the point. There needs to be radical changes now or we're down.

The McInnes experience which brought Aberdeen eight consecutive top four finishes?
That must have been hard to endure. Thankfully we've done much better under the managers we went for instead. Definitely dodged a bullet there.

Ok so what’s your experience from taking to hardened time-served Dons fans?
Remind me where did we finish under Ross again?

I probably know more Aberdeen fans than most on here and the guys I know think he done a great job. Most agree it was time for a change but almost all of them respect the job he had done, respect the loyalty he showed and appreciate the success he brought them.

My neighbours an Aberdeen fan and apart from Jimmy Thelin he’s admitted they got it wrong and would’ve taken him back at any point up until this season.
The anti football is a myth. McInnes could easily build an attacking team with our resources. That team would also be well organised and drilled. Something we’ve lacked forever.

Let’s stop with the McInnes stuff and wait to see what the BK group come up with. What is clear is that we are way down the ***** creak and heading south right now.
Our club is better than this (said in a voice of desperation)

After an extensive review and process we have determined that yet again the answer is already in the building (or a good pal of the chairman).

Since you ask, we lived in Aberdeen for five years and even went to some Aberdeen matches. We still sometimes meet up with old friends when Hibs are at Pittodrie and I don't recall any dissent among them about McInnes. The fact his teams beat us almost every time probably helped!

Watching Robinson today and he kicks every ball with his team. Demands from them and is at them the whole game.
Gray stands with his hands in his pockets, has a lengthy chat with Craig Samson, then sits back down. So uninspiring, his demeanour is reflective of the way his team come out.
