View Full Version : The Ticket Office

I noticed on Sunday that the ticket office appears to be moving into the FF stand. Kiosk windows with shutters, new signage etc (this may have been up for weeks and I have just been walking about with my eyes closed). I know a move was mentioned at the AGM to utilise the space in the FF stand better.

Does anyone know what is going into the building the ticket office is currently housed in? I have vague memories of a museum being mentioned which would sit nicely with the 150th anniversary coming up. Incidentally my dad met with the guys from the Historical Trust last week to hand over some photos, letters and memorabilia that had belonged to my grandad and he said some of the plans for said anniversary sound really good.

Is it not just for selling tickets on match days?

The same kind of signs are up at the East Stand too.

I might be wrong however :greengrin

I thought that at first but the sign actually says 'ticket office' rather than ticket sales and has a map of the stadium and QR codes and stuff up.

Admittedly that could the case in the East too but it just caught my eye in the FF because it's new (I think).

A Hibs museum would be excellent

I thought it said matchday ticket sales? Admittedly didn't pay a huge amount of attention.

It definitely says match day tickets of the FF, I’ve just driven past it.

There was a queue outside the TO on Sunday before the match, so the old building was still open then, although the plan is to move it into F5

Looks like I'll need to bring forward my biannual eye test then:greengrin

An absolute no brainer, perfect timing for year 150.

Confirmed on the app as moving to the FF Lower as well as opening the pods back up outside the east and west on matchday

Was there not a comfort zone, in the club retaining the ticket office, about 9 years ago, to stop any hostile bid ?

Looks like the TO will still be open. From the AP.

Main Ticket Office: Now focused on handling Matchday enquiries only.

I’m pretty sure Ron bought the building when he purchased the club.

Yes but the main ticket office will be the new one in the FF not the old building which will be closed.

Ah, you’re right. I misread the article and mistook the main TO as still being the old building.

I reckon our ticket office staff deserve a mention for all the hard work that they've been performing over the last few weeks with seat move requests etc.
Our group of 4 wanted to move seats and it was all sorted very efficiently by the ticket office folks ✅

Well done to all involved 🏅

Couldn’t agree more, swapped 2 seats, done without fuss in a couple of hours by email.

My mates are in the east stand and have 2 tickets together, my season ticket is 3 seats away from them with the 2 seats between us taken.

Would the ticket office be able to contact those who have these seats, and ask them if they would be willing to move one seat along so i could sit with my friends?
