What’s the verdict - is it a nice beer?
£30 for a 12 pack feels a bit expensive but probably goes with the territory of smaller craft set ups.
Will need to give it a try.

Bit **** you don't get any kind of discount for ordering the 12.

The beers alright, nothing to write home about. You're paying for the novelty, not so much the quality at that price.

I guess they’re never going to be able to price match the mass production brands. Might order 4 and keep for a special Hibs occasion such as winning a game when the day comes.

Better check the use by date before you drink it. 🤭

Beer should be in bottles as we seem to bottle games in the last 15 minutes 😭

Is it any different to the normal Pilot Leith Lager?

Time for the club to draught in some fresh ideas.

We really need to pump our next few opponents to move up the league.

As a coeliac, the price is not abnormal for a gluten free beer.
I enjoyed it when I had it last year and, on a selfish level, it is good for Pilot, Campervan and Bellfield to be producing good local GF beers

Totally agree, although we are a bit flat at the moment. We've ran out of gas

That's ridiculous. For comparison, Brewdog Lost Lager is about a £1 a can on their website

Is it not just a potential novelty Christmas gift for Hibs fans? I'm not sure why folk are comparing it beer you can buy in the supermarket any other day.

Haven’t bothered trying.
I’m so p***ed off with Hibs and their constant attempts to get money out of me. If it’s not Hibs beer or Hibs watches, it’s asking me to cough up for an evening with 1990s Hibs players
**** off Hibs !!!!

Can’t believe you don’t want to sit in front of your Hibs fire pit celebrating another draw with a Hibs beer

4.1%? Much like our leadership, seems a bit weak.

"At Pilot we use fresh ideas and techniques but keep drinkability at the heart of everything we do. Putting flavour firmly ahead of appearance we dont use filtration or isinglass finings in any of our beers. This means they might hazy and have a we bit of yeast sediment, but that's no mean thing, the difference in taste is, well clear."
Sounds one for the artisans. I'll be sampling at the weekend, i'll report back!

Looks like they're saving costs by avoiding additional processes, then trying to sell it as something "premium" or more "pure". I don't think any beer brewery aims to put appearance over flavour. It's beer.
