To the person who kept pushing down the pre match ‘Hibernian’ banner and was constantly arguing with the lads around her who were trying to hold it up. What was the point in the 5 minute argument and affecting the display. There’s so many issues at the club, why get angry at that?

Congratulations on shouting at some teenagers who had spent time and money organising a banner and causing trouble for no real reason (happy to be proven wrong if there was one).

The display is on the twitter page so thanks for making it look marginally worse (pushing down the A)

It was.
And if the club did withdraw permission just a few days ago then that is poor.

Block 7 have said that the club gave them permission for the display then withdrew permission 3 days ago, so B7 smuggled in the resources

*all according to block 7

And it was a hangeron who threw a smoke bomb onto the pitch.

Have you thought she may have wanted to concentrate on the players coming out and not wanting a big banner obstructing her view or entering her space. Clapping the team out etc is an important part of the day for me as is watching what is going on with the managers etc pre match. Perhaps one issue is having a display that the club have not given/withdrawn permission for. Why then bring it into the ground and cause trouble for no reason.

Yep, perfectly entitled to want to see that if she’s paid her money, especially when it was a display that hadn’t been approved by the club.

Someone is not telling the truth here, they were allowed in early yesterday morning before other fans to put the stuff on each seat?

I thought it looked very good.

In their own words they claim the had to "sneak in" and set up the Tifo incognito in only 30 minutes. Someone is indeed talking pish.

It looked great by the way, but was it publicised in advance so folk would've known about it?

They weren’t in early. I was in BTG and at 11am you could see dozens of them arrive frantically trying to set things up. Very good effort, in my Since 1875 days we’d have got in 8-9am and took 2-3 hours to set something like that up.

They were also coming round at half time to pick up the plastic sheets. Great job all round

Watching what is going on with the managers pre match?? I've never heard the like! LOL

I was going on what someone else said on another thread, that they were not allowed in and those setting up were let in a bit earlier than the doors opened so they could set up?:dunno:

Watching what is going on with the managers pre match?? I've never heard the like! LOL It is just habit from photographing games and checking out what is going on for the next time I do a Hibs or Hearts game. Always keep your eye out to see what is happening and one of the reasons I like turning up early. I would have been pushing the banner out the way too if it obstructed my view

Good to hear. Given how excellent it looked (I was watching on TV couldn’t be there), for me I would find it a very minor inconvenience (the banner) if I was sitting there, before the match had even started. All part of the pre match atmosphere … well done those who made it happen.

how good is security if you can smuggle something that big into the ground ?
