Don't think I have ever seen a new thread not get one reply nearly 2 hours after it getting posted. Might have something so do with the title thread and a few of us having lost just a wee bit of faith.
Out of politeness Hibiza I will give you a reply you have been fishing for.
Yes, David you can do it.
I think.

Still believe he can be the right man here :not worth. We need him to be that uniting figure we can all get behind but only thing that's going to do that is results.
In terms of the weekend, his experience in and around these games has got to be to our advantage to get the right messages across as the home team and what you can and can't do.
Right behind you David, get it right up them

I do think he’s a good coach and will turn out to be a new manager - a win or two will get the momentum going.

David David, he's our man.
If he can't do it, no one can.
They have had a moral boosting win, plus new manager bounce.
We have had yet another defeat, from a winning position, losing goals in extra time again, pretty demoralizing.
And its Hearts, so no matter how bad they may be the result is a toss up.
But just maybe a bit of luck, or fantastic skill, will come our way up front, our defence stays focused to the final whistle, and we get a much needed 3 points on the board.
And hopefully a couple of their key players pick up a niggly injury tomorrow keeping them out of Sundays game. Not very sportsman like, but like everyone else I desperately want a win.

I hear Robbo is an injury doubt for them 😁

This.
We have to support him and stop fooling ourselves that constant changing of managers is good for the club.

He needs to tell his players to stop getting sent off then he might have a fighting chance.

If we had 11 David Grays out there we would be doing just fine.
Not literally of course but you know what I mean.

I think (almost) every Hibs fan wants him to do it more than just about any other manager.
His name was sung loudly by the travelling fans on Saturday when we went ahead; people really don't want to turn on him. I get the impression both reading here and out in the 'real world' that there is increasing ire aimed at those above him and I don't think that is undeserved; even people who have previously been immovable in their support of the owner and CEO have shown glimpses of wavering.
Ultimately Gray has to do better than he has thus far, if he doesn't then he'll suffer the same fate as the 4 or 5 who preceded him. As I always say when the position of the manager starts to be questioned it is in everyone's interests that the incumbent gets it right. It saves the upheaval of a new manager, it costs less money, it provides a level of stability and it suggests the structure of the club is set up in a way that the manager can succeed. Hopefully we can start getting some points on the board soon and if that is on Sunday then so much the better.

For a derby, any Derby, the question is only this
Do you want to feel good at full time
Or do you want to feel terrible?
The answer is - we all want the same thing
The Win

Most frustrating bits about the most recent games that on the balance of the games we have not deserved to lose any including at Ibrox. Most goals have been individual mistakes not all though Motherwell winning goal and the United goals were in the main collective failures. How there isn't a centre back in the middle of the six yard box for a long throw is imo organisational Marvin not going out to confront Middleton. Very poor one to one defending poor keeping and not reacting is a collective for United second goal. Personally would bring Rocky in for derby and not joking.

I think at the moment the vast majority of Hibs supporters are still behind the manager and know where the problem lies. I think a defeat on Sunday will see the fans, in the west especially, turn on the directors box.

From the first game of the season it’s been individual mistakes that’s cost us up to now . I’d even go and say apart from that one our performances haven’t been bad at all . If we could just cut out the mistakes I think we’d be ok …
Don’t think Rocky is a bad shout either btw .

I think we’ve been 2 very unnecessary sending offs away from being in a reasonable position in the league. The only criticism I have of SDG has been his over reliance on Campbell/Cadden. Numerous individual errors have largely contributed to us being bottom of the league, not sure how he can control that🤷🏼

I don’t think we can just look at the goals we’ve conceded and pull out the mistakes but ignore that other teams mistakes lead to our goals.
As for Rocky…it’s a no for me. Shankland would be rubbing his hands together. I don’t think the centre halfs are playing well, but it’s early doors yet. I’ve seen more than enough of Rocky to know he’s not the answer.

Hopefully everyone reads that typically classless piece from the oddball Ryan Stevenson in advance.
Go through everyone of the team that bit harder. Get the intensity up in training as well and approach this game with a sense of purpose right from KO. The tempo was raised a few notches on Saturday when Boyle came on, not just Boyle himself but it seemed to feed into the whole team moving the ball quicker.
We’ll create plenty chances, so now would be a good time to start upping the conversion rate.

If there is any justice he will do it.
Just hope the players go their bit.
