Seemed to notice the three black players in Hibs eleven didn’t appear to have the cards. Any reason why? Assume some perception the organisation not as effective as it might be?

Not sure but were they not “stick ons” so possibly brushed off?
In any case until it’s taken seriously I can understand why someone may give it a miss.
Seems to be it’s an absolute token gesture. It needs to go beyond raising awareness.
Bartley and Harpers frustration with how incidents have been dealt with were palpable.

No all players lined up at the start were meant to hold up the cards but looked like none of the Hibs black players had a card to hold up. Would agree about the token gesture part.

I reckon the guys who did not hold up cards have their reasons and I respect that decision.
IMHO, society as whole would do well to reflect on those reasons.

Clearly their personal choice. These anti racism displays are indeed token gestures that have gone stale over the years. Once we start seeing more black coaches and managers, then these guys might feel the game is finally changing.

Disappointing that they drowned out the applause for show racism the red card with their drum and chants at Tannadice. Tone deaf.

Is racism the same as sectarianism? I really don't know but if it is, then nobody is listening to it in Scotland.
Personally I've not seen much anti skin colour racism in Scotland which is a major plus. Seen lots of religious/sectarian bigotry though. Most of it spouted by Sevco fans. That appears to be acceptable though as it's swept under the carpet.
