Is that a false memory that we were after him at a very late stage….

Scored against Dunfermline too. Sure his missus was sitting infront of me at that game.

Played as a trialist in a friendly at Dunfermline.
Roaster of a guy, and defo wasn't MOTM in a champions league final. Total lie.

Without any inside knowledge I'd be surprised if there is a much of a regular drinking culture at any top league professional clubs in the UK.
Certainly very different to how it was 15-20 years ago.

I remember being at Berwick rangers, friendly , I’m sure Lennon was screaming at Pennant for not trying, he hauled him off.
I think it was pennant .😳

100% you don't lose a cup final and get man of the match. From Memory Inzaghi scored twice, so I imagine he won MOTM

Did he not also play for us in a friendly against Sunderland? I'm sure the Sunderland fans chanted 'we thought you were dead' when he came on.

The man who allegedly forgot that he owned a house and a Porsche. Apparently bankrupt now.

He told a story on open goal and said when he saw our offer he couldn’t believe how little money it was 🤣

He definitely featured in the Berwick game as I went to it - think he did ok in that game and Pars game.
Can’t remember the Lennon screaming incident though so possibly different player??

Yep, I definitely remember seeing him play for us at Easter Road. The Berwick and Dunfermline games were away games I think.

He wasn't the official MOTM in the 07 Champions League final, but he was widely regarded as Liverpool's best player that night.
Looks like he was getting on ok with Lennon here:greengrin

The ones that do have a drinking culture tend to be managed by Neil Lennon
