Hearts may be bottom on points, but lead the way with most fouls as they try to boot and hack their way out of trouble.

Hibs are a respectable mid table at this stage.

Levein might be gone but his playbook must linger somewhere around their rented training facilities.

I hate to add an element of fairness, but this seems to be total fouls rather than fouls per game? If so, the top four (including Hearts) have all played an extra game.

Sorry...

Worth noting that all the top four teams have played an extra game. I think they would still be top on fouls per game though to not take anything away from the bashing :greengrin

Interesting to see Kilmarnock lower half. Another McInnes side with a good disciplinary/foul record, same as his Aberdeen side were despite people telling us he sets his teams up to ruin games by fouling.

I’m beginning to think your his agent 😂 .. surely your not going to tell me that Shinnie was well disciplined and didn’t get away with murder over the years there ? . Btw Killie have 3 red cards in 7 games .

Should be four, that Ndaba foul against us was a shocker.

And like clockwork, you’re back to tell us that despite all the evidence suggesting his teams weren’t thugs, that they in fact were.

It’s not a huge surprise that from being one of the best disciplined teams in the league under McInnes that Aberdeen are now (and have been since he left) one of the worst. Must just be a coincidence, of course.

Still can’t believe he actually got away with it .

Indeed, hearts and Hibs not that different on just over 12 fouls per game. 12.6 and 12.4 respectively

Would love to see one of these type of disciplinary tables adjusted where a non-SFA ref has subsequently watched the Rangers and Celtic games and totted up the number of fouls, cards and penalties he'd have given against them.

These sorts of tables are as much a gauge of which teams are better at getting away with the dark arts as they are of discipline/indiscipline.

Have Hearts not constantly been at the top, or in the top 2 or 3, of these type of tables for years?

It's built into the DNA of that club to be dirty.
