Question.
Having had to sit through 90 mins of listening to that clown in the South Stand yelling obscenities into a megaphone, if it is ok for that guy to take one into the ground can we all take one in or is it just restricted to the so called Ultras?

Hibs are soft.

Away fans get away with what they want.

The megaphone is nothing compared to Huns and Celtic fans with banners over the paid advertising boards plus all the flares.

Maybe one day Hibs will get a tougher core.

Shame it wasn’t 2-1 to us on the pitch.

It's a fair point.

I couldn't get a ****ing juice bottle in for my 4 year old a few weeks ago.

Don't get me started with the two-tiered policing when the Glasgow mobs are in town either.

I think the answer is that we all think the ultras, regardless of which club, are wee bams.

Have to say, the Motherwell fan today would have had it rammed up his erchie if he had been anywhere near me....

I'm gonna get a megaphone and start yelling instructions to Gray and the team, using my own thoughts and the sage thoughts from people who sit near to me. I think things would improve.

Out of interest, do Rangers or Celtic allow visiting supporters to bring in drums and megaphones?

Drums, megaphones and incessant monotonous songs are really putting me off football now.

Yes, the team isn't great to watch and we need better results, but this is honestly killing my enjoyment more than anything.

Flares are illegal in the ground ?
We let so many in to the ground that the south stand fills completely with smoke which, in turn, spills across the pitch. The police control room is in that stand. How can they possibly watch and control any emergency under those conditions.

A megaphone is a heavy weapon to be swung or thrown. Emergency Service messages, in an emergency, are passed over the tannoy. On the failure of the tannoy those instructions need to be heard and acted on over.. a megaphone.
If every Tom, Dick or little prick can bring a tannoy in to the stadium where does that leave emergency response?

The stairways, passageways and vomitories, in each stand are essential emergency exit routes. We tolerate overcrowding, in the south stand especially and fans to congregate blocking all of these passageways.

Only scratching the surface here but the above makes me understand why we don’t allow children to bring a small plastic bottle of juice in to the ground. After all that would be way more dangerous than allowing masked dafties to do all of the above and more.

Way to go Police Scotland and the club.

To be fair teh club pays heavily for stewards and the police. Both should be doing way better and that can only come with teh Police actually looking like they want to tackle crime rather than winding everyone up by stopping us leaving teh ground on our desired route. The complete lack of policing has caused the sense of entitlement we see in away stands and that include those occupied by Hibs fans

Agreed. Hence my final comment.

Safety certificates rely on a number of authorities but none more so than the police. Equally, in the event of a serious incident at any stadium then a large portion of accountability falls on policing.
The changes we have seen. Right now we don’t seem to see any.
