What’s the stats on our penalties over the last 5 years, we seem to miss a lot. ?

What’s the stats on our penalties over the last 5 years, we seem to miss a lot. ?

33 penalties, 25 scored, 8 missed in the last 4 seasons and the start of this one. Equals 76% and I’m sure 78% is the expected amount to be scored.

Martin Boyle has been the standout taker for us in that period with 18 pens taken and 15 scored giving him a success rate of 83%. There’s a few guys who have taken 1 or 2 with 100% success rate but it’s a bit of a small sample size.

So excluding Boyle, that leaves 10 scored from 15 and 66% spread across the other takers, which would be nice to see improved upon this season

Better than expected
however the 2 I remember, were this one , and the hearts one at Easter road , was it last season, Mabye we just miss important ones.

December last year. Hearts missed one too.

Missed some big ones yesterday Boyle in derby. Nisbet missed a couple in big games Dons away and cup semi. Also missed one v Celtic Murphy scored on rebound
