Was he at Dundee around the time they had the dodgy foreign owners?

Sad news. Pretty sure I remember him scoring against us at ER. Hibs Dundee was a great fixture around that time, usually a few goals and we usually won.

Dundee under Bonetti had some great players as you mention before it all went wrong. Zurab Khizanishvili was the Georgian centre back. Went to Ibrox for a bit then Blackburn Rovers. Georgi Nemsadze was another Georgian midfielder they had. Good player and think we were linked with him at one point.

They also had Ketsbia and Speroni the goalkeeper who went to Crystal Palace, good team at the time. Rip Caballero

A bit confusing some of the names quoted in earlier posts, it wasn't necisarily the dodgy foreign owners that signed these players, it might of been the Marr brothers who were equally dodgy.

That was a really fun team they had around then. As likely to get humped 3-0 and be down to 9 men or play absolute velvet football and beat anyone on their day. We had some great high scoring games against them.

They had the Khizanizvillizxasxyzx guy (spelling issues perhaps) that went to Der Hun

Think you're missing a w from somewhere in the name there.

That was an exciting time for Dundee and that team enhanced our top flight.

The game we played against Bonetti's Dundee at Easter Road when Agathe scored his two unbelievable solo goals was one of the most high quality, entertaining games between two teams in our league I've ever seen. I remember Dundee fans applauding Agathe's goal. They weren't too shabby a side either. Good memories.
