This thread has no doubt been done before though I have to say I thought our pitch looks fantastic and after watching this on the hospitality at ER everything looks so good and professionally done … how ER has changed over the years is truly remarkable.

Hopefully we can get it right on the Park soon as everything else seems to be going in the right direction.

Great to see Pat Stanton looking well in this too ……

Can't fault the oweners for their investment into the hospitatily and by extension the stadium, it was much needed. I believe there's plans to do the East in time for next season?

Irrespective with most of the stadium updagrades out of the way we need to be doubling down on getting the team on the park right. Get it right more often than not and all that hospitaility will pay for itself and more in the coming seasons. I want to be proud of the team on the park more than I am of our infrastucture and initiatives off it.

I absolutely love our stadium.

I miss the slope but that's just me.

Enjoyed the video - I haven't sampled the latest joys of BTG offerings as yet, but when I think about it, I'm happy to observe that things realy ARE working as far my match day experience at ER goes these days!
The turnstiles work, the bogs are clean and well maintained, and I can usually get a pie at HT without missing any of the game - of which I have an uninterrupted view from any seat in the house!
We take these things for granted now but if you could take a time machine back 30 years they would have seemed almost unimaginable luxury! We have come on miles as a club over these years and the Farmer/Petrie regime deserve the bulk of the credit for that.
It still takes good management- care and attention - to make it all work week to week though, and right now I think we are getting things right - credit to those responsible and long may that continue.
Now we just need SDG to keep doing it on the pitch and we'll all be in clover!

The watching - even for modern stadia is maintenance as we’ve found out.

With the upgrades will also mean more to upkeep. It’s all good but not for free however the solar panels may mean we’ve offset a few of these costs… wonder what the figures looks like.

Good video and gives a good feel for how excellent these facilities for a match day experience. I am fortunate to have a place in the Albion Bar and been lucky to have enjoyed the Tornadoes Lounge too.
Thanks to HSL, having a game by game draw, I’ve also been fortunate enough to have enjoyed the Pioneers Lounge. Definitely recommend HSL members get their name in for that chance. In fact, it’s worth contributing to HSL to get that opportunity if you’re not already a contributing member.
Can’t speak highly enough of this aspect of game day.

What are they planning for the East?

AFAIK the East has capabilities to have a floor installed above the concourse. Might be reference to that. Dempster I think was the first person to mention the possibility of doing something more in the East.

It would be fantastic to have a free to access supporters bar in the East stand, something that caters for walk up and regular season ticket holders. It makes perfect sense that this would be the next item on the list, though I can't imagine it being a cheap project.

I didn't realise the Head of Hostipulity was an allumni of this site. Good to see him doing a job he'll love.

Just need to harness the hot air coming from the stands and we are self sufficient.😁

I know this will be an unpopular opinion but if the East stand was 2 tier and mirrored the west (minus the hospitality seats) it would look so much better imo. Imagine an entire bottom tier in the East with safe standing instead of behind the goals, yes please!

It would also have meant future hospitality options would be much easier (and cheaper?) to now achieve. Forward planning and all that.

No chance of a free entry bar when they are trying to fill two other paid bars sadly.

As I recall the club reached out to the fans and asked our opinion before building the East - the single tier arguments won the day and we've got what we asked for as a support.

Yep, original plan was 2 tier I think

I don't agree. The club prioritised revenue - rightly in my opinion - and will offer something more akin to what BTG used to be. Maybe season ticket access only?

The club have got this bang on IMO. By the time it's all finished we will have something to offer for everyone at every pricepoint.

Can we not do whatever is required to bring the stadium up to standards to stage international matches such as under 21 and the like. Tynecastle and Pittodrie attract these games. Easter Road is a superior stadium in all other respects.

Is it true that there is some lacking element or certification of ER that means such games can't be hosted there? We've hosted u21 and indeed full friendly international matches in the past and I can't believe there's a respect that we're falling behind Tynie or Pittodrie in as both of those, especially the latter, are absolute dumps.

I don't think there's any issues around stadium standards. Are we even applying for the games to be hosted at ER? It might be the case we're not interested from an operational point of view. Pitch preservation maybe?

Don't know why I had it in my head it had something to do with the charging rooms 😅

Nice film and the presenter is great. She’s a Bonnie lassie for sure but beyond that, she did a great job, some people just have a charismatic smile and a voice that makes you want to listen. Good stuff.

I have been told previously that the changing rooms don't meet requirements for internationals.

Probably OK for international friendlies and possibly qualifiers but much like the pitches at Hearts and even the mighty Liverpool they wouldn't meet requirements for an actual tournament finals.

I doubt we would even have the required media facilities. Celtic Park was only a 4 star stadium for years because of this. Big tents had to be erected for every champions league match to house all the necessary spaces. Only once they built proper facilities were they upgraded to match Ibrox.
The new Everton Stadium even has a huge media compound built outside of the stadium itself to fulfill Euro 2028 requirements.

Really enjoyed that. Had watched the wee snipped that was put up on Facebook but that was a really good 10 minute watch. People can moan all they want about not being bothered about stadium improvements, hospitality improvements etc but it all merges together and is all very important in the modern football world. It's incredible how far Easter Road has come. A beautiful stadium and a match day experience to be proud of. Hopefully we go from strength to strength now on the pitch!

The hospitality offerings look excellent and these areas are well looked after, rightly so as they bring in the people with money.

Just wish there was something for the normal season ticket holder, who are often putting as much money as they can in to the club too, just not to the sums needed to be in hospitality every week. Hopefully the club remember all supporters groups when they talk about match day experience and stadium improvements.
