1st stop, the Maroon Mile (or should that be the Keech Kilometre) to visit some of the 200 creditors to get their views on a football club's ethics.

Ian Hislop has let his standards slip allowing that to be advertised in Private Eye.
Or is a bit of satire?

AI kindly gave me a more accurate description of the trip.
Join Different League for an entirely forgettable trip—a two-night (usually Friday and Saturday) VIP experience in dreary Edinburgh to watch the uninspiring Heart of Midlothian, or "Hearts," one of Scotland’s mediocre fan-owned clubs, as they limp through a match in the lackluster Scottish William Hill Premiership.
Prepare yourself for an experience that will be far from unique. You’ll witness the so-called "raw talent" of players struggling to make an impact in Scotland’s underwhelming top league. We’ll halfheartedly try to immerse you in the outdated traditions and fading passion of the club, but don’t expect much.
You’ll be staying at a hotel awkwardly attached to the dated Tynecastle Stadium, where you’ll wake up to the faint and underwhelming buzz of matchday—a poor substitute for real excitement. The "fun" certainly doesn’t stop there—because there isn’t much to begin with. You might get the chance to attend a traditional Scottish ceilidh, but only if it's available. Even then, don’t expect anything more than a tired, routine event.
The hotel, while boasting "quality," offers little more than basic amenities wrapped in a thin veneer of sustainability buzzwords, with no real commitment to delivering on those promises. As for those "delightful surprises"—don’t get too excited. Any "twists" Hearts and Different League throw in will be little more than desperate attempts to disguise what is essentially a dull, run-of-the-mill football trip.
Whether you're a football fanatic or just a bored traveler, don't expect to create lasting memories—this tour is more likely to leave you questioning why you bothered in the first place.

All I could add to this marketing masterclass would be the atmospheric lingering whiff of stale hops that seems to have hung over Gorgie forever.
Or is that a positive for anyone looking to get a bit of lager heritage from the ultimate cultural experience?

Also got it to correct the hotel blurb.
https://i.ibb.co/FXgs0qm/Screenshot-20240916-232803-Chrome.jpg (https://ibb.co/cwDbCXk)
Becomes:
The Tynecastle Park Hotel is a disastrous attempt at hospitality, awkwardly jammed into the midst of Heart of Midlothian Football Club. This so-called "proud community club," bogged down by outdated traditions, made the ill-conceived decision to open a hotel.
The idea of "self-sustainability" and "growth" is laughable at best, as the hotel is entirely managed by the same football club, whose success is about as reliable as a rainy day in Edinburgh.
Any success the hotel might scrape together is a desperate attempt to prop up the club’s unrealistic ambitions. The hotel clings to its mediocre "unique qualities" like a bad habit, offering an experience that you’ll only love if you're fond of disappointment.
They boast about blending "innovation" with their “rich past,” but this clumsy fusion is more likely to irritate than impress, leading to an experience that is bound to underwhelm.
Staying at Tynecastle Park Hotel guarantees much more than just a poor night’s sleep — it welcomes you into a soulless environment where your "special moment" becomes a memory you'll want to forget as soon as you leave.

Maybe we should get AI to write all posts in future. That's good material.
On a slight tangent, has anyone any knowledge as to how much the hotel contributes to Hearts' revenues either on the credit or debit side?

No one has mentioned that you can see the Castle while eating a poke of chips. Surely that’s going to bring the punters in.

I'll never understand why someone would pay £1300 for a "bespoke" trip like that when you could easily organise it yourself for about half the cost.

I work in the travel industry, and the brass neck on show here is exceptional. It's a train from London, 1st class, to watch Hearts in not even a cat A game.
Quite extraordinary
