They should have been made to make alternative arrangements a week and a half ago

Absolute abhorrent club, they really are

That’s a disgrace from Rangers. Genuinely would be happy to see us lock them out next times they’re at Easter Rd for this.

Its far too late in the day now. Most folk will have made other plans and folk running buses etc will have no chance. The club would be better telling them to ram their tickets and lodge a complaint. Also explain that we wont be giving them any allocation for Easter Rd

We’ll still shift a fair chunk of them. A lot of the folk that go to Ibrox are folk that go week in, week out and rarely miss a game.

If we do eventually get them, I wonder if the ticket office might end up open on Saturday for collection.

Hibs were told of the SPFL ruling on Monday, but haven't received the tickets from the Huns.

Hence the media "leak" via Hibs Obsever

If the Scottish newspapers can drag themselves away from fawning over “Brendan” and “Philippe” for 5 minutes then they might just pick up on the story and maybe see some pressure put on Rangers.

At least The Rangers are consistent.

In every situation and at every opportunity they without fail manage to show a complete lack of class, dignity and humility.

Hopefully they die again and soon.

Media won’t want to rock the European boat for them. Too important for the coefficiency (in their eyes).

The whole thing simply highlights the disparity between the old firm and the rest.

To quote Kevin Keegan “I’d love it if we beat them”, with or without our fans there.

Back to on the pitch, do you think SDG will go with 3 at the back? Any latest on Newell?

Rangers are a disgrace - obviously dragging their feet over the tickets and deserve punishment.

I however will be watching in the pub anyway - so any team news?

My guess at the starting lineup:

Bursik
Miller Ekpiteka O'Hora Obita

Triantis Kwon
Cadden Campbell Rudi

Myko

I wouldn't play Campbell, he doesn't retain possession well enough in these games to warrant a starting position.

I'd go with a change of shape if possible:

Bursik
Miller Ekpiteta O'Hora Iredale Obita
Triantis Molotnikov Kwon
Kucharevich Youan

More important that they continue to find enough favour to secure their packages to travel on what must be very enjoyable Euro junkets to cover the Old Firm.

It’ll soon be weekend debrief time so plenty to fill their pages with without worrying too much about this ticket debacle.

Nah, that only inflicting financial damage on Hibs.

I'm presuming it's THE Rangers Board that have delayed any decision on Sunday's game so these are the guys who should be informed that they'll not be welcome at ER and no hospitality will be offered.

With Rangers away in Malmo for European action, there’s maybe not much will from the boardroom to be sorting this out while their snouts are stuck in the Swedish hospitality trough.

This doesn’t look like it’s going to be happening.

David Gray also addressed it in today pre match press conference - he confirmed that the club have done everything in their power to get the 932 tickets for our fans.

I still say that - imv - the building work means that Rangers cant accommodate all of their fans and want Hibs to roll over and say "dinnae worry". Rangers have been emailing their fans requesting missing/holidaying fans put their STs on the ticket exchange website all week.

That Hibs demanded the full allocation and forced the SPFL to tell Rangers to provide these is absolutely the right way to deal with it.

Tears and snotters statements (a la The Huns) make clubs look stupid.

To be fair, they’ve no reason to discuss away tickets.

Presumably we’ll hear from Hibs soon and we’ll hear we have our usual allocation. If not then questions need to be asked of those that run the game in Scotland.

Assuming Hibs will get tickets if the stadium is full capacity - they were obviously waiting to see if the new part of the stand was ready to be opened.

The other question is..have they improved the safety / entrance for away fans - something Celtic questioned few weeks back.

It’s a communication to their own fans, for me their duty is to let their own fans know what’s going on. It’s for Hibs to let us know and then the authorities to deal with them imo.

Timing of the announcement is no coincidence. They announce full capacity and a short time later we have our allocation.

If they didn’t have that open I think they’d just have bumped us, irrespective of what the league have ruled.

That should really be "full" as we take more to most grounds than we do to Ibrox and the allocational is not reasonable imo. Absolute shambles and I hope they will be fined appropriately

Once a supporter purchases a ticket online, our ticketing team will need to manually intervene to get PDF tickets sent over.

Please note, there may be a slight delay in ticket delivery given the manual admin work involved but the team will work over hours to get all tickets fulfilled today and over the weekend.

In terms of the team for the game, I'd go something like this

Bursik

Miller
Marv
O'Hora
Obita

Cadden
Kwon
Triantis
Cadden

Hoilett

Myko

I think we need our wide players to be good defensively and get up and down. Kwon should have license to get in the box and Hoilett should be given almost a free role.

There's no real logic in playing a back 3 IMO, we haven't looked comfortable like that and it doesn't really help against Rangers playing Dessers as a lone 9. Better to match up and count on our midfield to do the job defensively.

I don’t think that will be far away in terms of personnel but I think we’ll set up a bit different, similar to the last couple of games.

Think Miller will come back in and Chris Cadden will play in front of him with Youan dropping to the bench. I also think Josh Campbell will come in for Molotnikov. And Hoilett will play on the left instead of Nicky Cadden.

Not all necessarily what I would do but I think it might be what Gray does.

Sales stop the day before, think it was at 1pm.

Thanks... thought they might have still been available 👍

Really tough game today - Huns seem to have found form and full stadium will be expecting a performance.

I just hope we don’t lose an early goal and would take a draw right now.

A win would be massive for David Gray getting credit in the bank.

Real test for the back line once again and keeper is going to need to have a good game.

I think we'll take an absolute doing if that's the team.

There'll be 8 other players too, not just them.

Looking forward to watching us today.

Are we asking Campbell to playing out wide looking at that. If he naturally finds himself drifting central and deep we are going to find it really difficult to get up the pitch and feed it to Kuch and get up in support to play off him.

I’m not Campbell’s biggest fan but if there was ever a game to play him with Joe not available this is it. Don’t have an issue with a more defensively minded No.10 today.

I wouldnt have played Campbell, but cant argue with the rest of the team.

That's a relief, not convinced by a 1-1-1 without a goalie. 😁
