Glad it's on the Sunday, as I've a wedding on the Saturday. Not sure I fancy getting into town for 12 on a Sunday post wedding though!
Just seen they have not picked the away Derby.
Don't think they like showing games there for some reason.

The away derby was picked for TV in June!

I hate Sundays at 12. It's about the worst of all the possible options.
The atmosphere is always a bit flatter and it's crap for people who travel from afar for these games as it severely limits public transport options.

Shocker of a KO time. The last few seasons without Sky being interested in the Edinburgh Derby has been much better for the match going punter.

The one in December isn't on tv from the list I saw!

I think it's one of the games that has been scheduled for TV, but even if it wasn't, it would be too early for those games to be picked yet typically.
Anyone got a rough idea when tickets are likely to go on sale for the derby?

It’s on TV as per SPFL website

Could be perfect for me in Dublin, might fly into Edinburgh and get tram from airport.
Anyone know how long that takes to get to near ER?

Fair enough, list saw on twitter said no Edinburgh Derby game live on either channel.

Cheers not flown into Edinburgh Airport before so good to know. Early flight it would have to be.

35-40 minutes on tram, then a 15 minute walk to the stadium.

The day can’t be far off when broadcasters start pushing for morning KO’s to fill full days for the armchair subscribers.
Ross County v Hibs - 9.30 am KO

It’s stinking for an out of town fan, particularly if they’re not driving.

The cynic in me says that Sky are only picking the derby now because Premier Sports would show it if they didn't and they don't want other TV companies benefitting.

Thats happened before. I'm sure a Cardiff v Swansea derby has been a Sunday at 11:30 previously.

Aye, weren’t interested for the last few years
Any idea when tickets for this are likely to go on sale? I've been living in England for a long time but will be up the road for this one so it would be got to get back to ER. Not been since pre covid times!

Probably 3 weeks before
If you haven’t been since pre Covid, suggest you check with TO if you can buy tickets for Cat A games.

The clocks go back on 27th October so it gives us another hour to prepare.

Yeah I was wondering if this could be a problem. I just re-registered on the website and it still has my client reference number and ticket history. Turns out last game I went to was actually an Edinburgh derby in 2018! So hopefully shouldn't be an issue but I'll give the ticket office a shout.

Sadly not an extra hour for travelling though! Was hoping to make it for this one but no chance for a kick off like that without paying a fortune for a Saturday night hotel
