Just after watching this about Leicester City escaping a point deduction on Talksport and think it’s unfair on other teams in the relegation battle with them this season.
They did breach the rules though seem to have found a way to escape through a loophole in the rules which makes you wonder if Man City will find a way to escape as well?
Crazy stuff with the premier league left with egg on their faces ….

If Man City had a way to escape, they'd have done it by now. Leicester breached rules.
Man City breaches rules for a decade, lied about it and refused to hand over evidence.

I don't think Man City will have anything major done to them. When I say major I mean demotion or removal of trophies.
Not saying that that's correct, I think they should from the outside looking in, but if Leicester can find a loophole you can guarantee the best lawyers in the world, which City will have, will find something to either close it down or mitigate the punishment massively.

I think the opposite, I think they'll get hammered however I think also that the appeals process will drag on for years so no punishment will take effect for years to come if ever.

Man City will get a £50k fine, halved on appeal and 5 years to pay

I think we're thinking along the same lines. Even if the Premier League decide to hammer them, which I am not sure they actually do, City's lawyers will tie them up in knots and wear them down to a point where the punishment will ultimately not be that severe.

They will struggle to front and proportionately deal with Man City's ultimate owners.

Meanwhile Chelsea sell two hotels to their sister company for £76 million.
The whole system seems rigged and Chelsea are worse than Man City IMO. The amounts they have spend in recent years are unbelievable, especially considering they lack of on field success.

Since 2022 Chelsea have spent no less than 1.32 billion on signings which is an obscene amount of money .

I think Chelsea have as many of their players playing for European clubs as they have at Stamford Bridge?
Its obscene the way they are buying young talent abroad and farming them out, rather than playing them?
To my way of thinking, its only to stop other EPL teams from getting them.
To much money in the EPL, and this type of thing is the result!!!

Genuinely sickening. Not long until I disengage from top level football

Is there not an Uefa directive about to kick in, about the amount of players you can loan out?
