The first Hibs Kids game is the next home game v St Johnstone, and I was wondering where the Hibs Kids will be located following the rail seating being installed in FF.
There doesn’t appear to be an option for South on the ticketing site. The FF lower would previously have had some activities for the kids on concourse and what not so just curious to know what the plans are now if anyone has any information.

2 blocks of the east (closest to FF) now hibs kids home. And the concourse of the east stand for hibs kids activities now.

Not sure the East is the best place for the Hibs Kids section. The stairs are much steeper than the FFL and there's not a lot of choice in seat selection. One of the end wings of the West would be better seating wise, although the concourse is probably too small to host the activities.

We have 3 season tickets in FF upper and have a Hibs kids one which means one of us sits with him when Hibs kids matches are on. We all enjoy the pre match stuff in the FF lower concourse so does this mean two of us won't get access to the East prior to the match for the pre match stuff

I got some last week and when I checked the map, Hibs Kids tickets were available across the whole of the East - not just limited to the blocks closest to the FF.

Went to the ticket office this morning to get a Hibs Kid ticket for my grandaughter and to switch my seat from the FF upper for Sat's game. I was pretty disappointed the only 2 seats together I could get were the front row or the back row, seats 222 and 223. I take it these are stuck away in the top corner of the east, next to the away end.
Something tells me if it wasn't a Hibs kid's ticket I was after, there would be a lot more seats available.

On the day more seats will be available, season ticket holders not turning up
The 4 in front of me are away on holiday and won’t be at the game
Maybe give it half an hour or so and move somewhere better

Thanks BW, that's what I intended doing. I'm trying to encourage my grandaughter to attend as many Hibs games as she can. I didn't want the front row seats in case it was chucking it down on Sat. But the seats we've been allocated will be just too far removed from the pitch and the action.

Had a quick look at the seating plan for Saturday. Other than the of seat here or there, very few seats with 2 together apart from blocks 44&45 in the east

Thanks again Billy. I tried to get down to the ticket office early last week, but didn't manage it. I never try for tickets online, as always seem to have problems with Hibs website.

Aye, it's not ideal.
I tried to buy one single hibs kids ticket and managed to get the seat directly next to me. Couldn't buy it as kids u-13 can't attend alone. But the system knows exactly where my season ticket is and that I have one - so why not just let me buy the seat!!

I managed to do that last season when the Hibs Kids allocation in the lower FF sold out, and I managed to get the seat next to my season ticketseat in the upper tier. I would've preferred doing that again for this Sat.

For the last 3 hibs kids games, I’ve had a look at the seat map to see what seats are available, then just emailed hibs with my move and where I wanted the 2 seats and they sorted for me within an hour or so. Maybe worth remembering for next time.

They probably need to rethink the ticketing for this. Doesn't make much sense plonking us up the top of the East towards the away end - traditionally where folk tend to stand - if it means all a 3-7 year old can see is someone's back.

We were allocated up in that section and I suspected that it was where folk often stand. It’s a great view up there and luckily my kids were able to see OK given the steepness, but it didn’t feel right standing and I was a bit conscious of those behind us with younger kids so we did some jiggling around to try and not block anyone. We were able to sit at times depending on where play was.
The seat map didn’t throw up a lot of seats together in East in advance, so it’s going to be a problem this season. Opening up the South might actually be the best bet.

Took the wee man to his first ever game today.
Strip, ticket, train and scran and I’m £220 lighter. Begs the question it really does and I hope the club really starts to think about access for young families. Im lucky but also £200+ for a day to see an average game 🥴
He had a ball though and it’s been “my special day cause Boyle scored and I got him on my new strip”

No Michelin star restaurant the next time then.

Although tbf you’re not gonna be buying a strip every game I’d imagine.

We had a look round the shop and the prices for everything are absolutely extortionate. Even a basic T-shirt with quite a nice looking print of the ship from crest was £30. Queue for till was long enough so trade being done, but the price of kids strips is pretty eye watering.

6 year old full strip with Boyle on it and a scarf was £128
£42 on tickets
£12 on scran at stadium and £20 train fares.
Nowt to do with fancy food or restaurants and like I say, I am lucky that I can afford it and the wee man had a blast.
Feel for people who can’t or struggle that’s all. Wasn’t expecting the smart arse responses

The only logical place for Hibs-Kids events is in the lower tier of the FF or South Stands.
As the FF is no longer available, surely it would make sense to open part of the South Lower for these matches.

I was buying online for my seven year old's birthday and, to be fair, I can't believe we're in a day and age where £70 for the away kit still left me shy of a pair of socks. Mad.

It’s not smart arse responses to point out that it isn’t £220 for the average game. I had my Daughter at her first game as-well today. £36 all in for the two of us. Great value for money IMO when you look at what other days out cost.
20/21 season top for her from eBay a year back cost me around £15 and a carrier bag with some snacks in it.
Hope the wee man enjoyed it as much as mine did 💚

Wee tip - £2 pizza slice is so much better than anything at the ground. My daughter absolutely loves it and fills her up before the game. Followed by her getting stuck into the snack box she made up at home while at the game.

I never said it was! Been going 30 odd years and well aware it didn’t need to cost that.
I wasn’t him to get his strip from the ground, I wanted to get him in the east stand with the Hibs kids.
Saying “no more Michelin star restaurants” and “did you get the train from London” are smart arse responses.
It won’t be like that the next time….but to kit out my 6 year old and get into the game was still £160. The point I’m making is that could potentially put a lot of people off.
As I said, he had a blast as did I

Thanks for the parenting tips mate!
I was only trying to make the point that I could put some people struggling off. We had a blast

I get from your comment that you think I’m being smart but I can assure you I wasn’t. I take my daughter most weeks so certainly couldn’t afford to do the full hog every game so try and find ways of keeping costs down week to week. And £2 pizza slice is class [emoji23]
