It just feels like we've been doing this forever, and far more than other teams, I want to know if that's actually factual or just a myth that gets dredged up (by ourselves and fans of other teams) every time we concede a late goal

Great research by SHODAN.

The link below states that in the final 10 minutes last season we scored 7, but conceded 14. Most other teams have similar patterns apart from the Old Firm (surprise, surprise :rolleyes:), Hearts, Kilmarnock and Motherwell. For us to be more successful this season, we have to turnaround this stat.

Mentality issue for me.

There is absolutely no point in us trying to sit on a lead and protect it, we just can’t do it. I thought there were positives yesterday but I also never felt that we went looking to try and kill them off. What then happened in the 90th minute didn’t come as any real surprise, even if I didn’t feel like we were under a great deal of pressure.

The only time I've never really worried about us chucking away points in the latter stages of games was under John Collins. Always felt his team was just fitter and more switched on towards the end of games. Dunno if there was any evidence to back this up though, maybe it was in my imagination.
