Kwon but special mention for Triantis who was superb today.

Having 2 defensive midfielders should make us more solid, but less creative.
Seems to me Gray set us up to be difficult to beat and revert to the hoof from the back.
It almost worked. But again let down by a late error. Obita cannot keep his place if Gray keeps his word.

The good:
Marv looked good.
Kwon looked good.
Triantis looked good.
We only ever have to play on that pitch 1 more time.
Bowie looks a player.
Hibs definitely won’t concede in the 90th minute next weekend.
Youan and Hoilett are one game closer to fitness.

It’s another’s game experience for Gray.
Next time we’re winning he’ll know to put on Rocky to see the game out

Wee bit unlucky not to see the game out It's just Hibs though isn't it. Still optimistic over the next month or so that we will start winning matches and confidence will grow. St Johnstone and Motherwell coming up at home. Good fixtures to get us up the table. Youan in for Boyle hopefully as well for a bit more excitement in the final third.

Quite a few positives from today, apart from a very daft mistake the defence actually looked OK, triantis looked good, Bowie got more minutes and hopefully after the international break will be starting, myko looked a lot fitter today also. Not all dom and gloom despite the crap result

Positives:
Hearts beat.
Naismith won't get sacked yet.
Naismith might get sacked if we win the next Derby
Triantis is the best 6 in the world
Ekpiteta CAN actually defend, very well.
Bowie is a massive s***house
Kwon is a baller and can play as an 8
Still to add Youan and Hoilett to the mix, both would have been welcome today.

Cannot be denied that the first half was dire.
Good that we scored first, but the usual frailties came to light in the end.
Much that there were some positives today this will only last if we start to win games.
St Johnstone are up next and Levein knows how to play us. I expect another difficult watch, but we need a win or things will quickly spiral out of control and pressure heaped on Gray.
There will be some seriously unhappy people if we lose to St Johnstone at home.

The thing that makes me nervous about St Johnstone is that the two strikers are an absolute handful

Midfield looks more solid but hard to tell how good they were on that pitch, where the main tactic appears to be to launch it back to front.
Triantis was superb and Kwon was prepared to get stuck in too.
If only Myko’s wonder strike had gone in, it would have been a more comfortable experience!

Just because someone is described as a defensive midfielder doesn't mean they can't play progressively. Triantis certainly proved that today.

Both looked very good as did Marvin who battled well and won most in the air. Slowly getting better baby steps. Unlucky weren’t a couple of reds Ndaba tackle was a shocker and centre back who caught Bowie. Quite bizarre Killie got pretty much a foul every time they went over Bowie got next to nothing.

That's the bloody problem supporting Hibs. After a slow start today most folk seemed to think we looked better than we have and had good things to say about our two new midfielders ... hold out for the win and it's quite positive going into the break with St Johnsone up next at ER.
Instead we shoot ourselves in the foot with a bit of stupidity and it feels like a defeat, chucking all the positivity oot the windae. It's a hard shift supporting this club.
Ian Crocker shouldn't be remembered for 'Henderson to deliver' because what he said earlier in that match should be the club's bloody motto ............. "Oh to be a Hibs fan; what they put you through"

Stand outs for me Triantis that mazy run where he beat man after man and cracked a drive off the upright and the crossbar his all round play was very impressive
Myko class act that shot from the half way line was exceptional brought out a good save from the keeper He has this thing where he brings the ball down turns his man and moves the ball on to a man in space all in the one movement a real handful
Speaking of handfuls Bowie is relentless never gives up never gives defenders a minutes peace I like how he just shoves the opposition out of the way and had them resorting to unfair means to stop him A real find

Bowie is an absolute handful, however I also think he’s good with the ball at his feet
I want us to get it into his feet more than him scrapping for nothing balls
A front 3 of Youan, Myk and Bowie would be a nightmare for defences

Looked decent second half. Quite liked that we seemed to just be clearing our lines at the back rather than trying to play out.
Triantis, Kwon, Myko and Bowie have all come in and given the team a lift, hopefully the others that follow will do the same as some of our legacy players have been struggling for a while. If they can rediscover their form they could be like new signings also.

Mixture of gutted and angry with yet another defensive lapse costing us points. But I feel slightly more positive about a few things I saw today.
Midfield much better and I think they’ll improve further. I thought Kwon was miles better than last week when he just looked off the pace more than anything.
The other thing is that we stood up to their physicality. We looked a big strong team ourselves and that’s not something you’d often say about us.
Getting Bowie in the team plus Youan and Hoilett available makes a big difference. Disappointing end to the game but there were positives to take today IMO.

The two former Central Coast Mariners, Triantis and Miller were among our best players.

Good to see a positives thread.
I really do feel this is the early stages of the ship steering the right course. The options from the bench are better the midfield has more foundation the team has more agility and height giving us a real presence. Still miles of the old firm but we will definitely grow in to this season, and beyond that i definitely feel more confident the right people are working tirelessly on what this team needs.
I’d like our investors to take note, things may be a bit different from how they envisaged the route we take but I’m more positive now than the last 4 years the pieces are in place to kick on.
Now jump on the gravy train Mr Foley and we can get the hibees bouncing again!!

Lots to like about today, though we were blessed by angels when Vassell missed sitter of the season. SDG needs to find out where Obita's head is. He was never the best defensively but he looks really off his game to me. Maybe it's the new CBs or maybe something unrelated to football. The penalty came from a totally unnecessary collision.

We played well. Definitely the better team and if we can cut out the mistakes and focus for 90 mins we'll be fine this year.
Bowie, Holliet and Youan all potentially to come in from the start can make a big difference.
Kwon and Triantis played really well.

I wonder now that we have Kwon and Triantis whether we'll see more from the likes of Levitt. I still think he's the best passer of a ball at the club and with Youan and Toilet to come in we have some real good options going forward.

Toilet? Autocorrect error or misheard dictation, I hope. It's unusual for a new signing to be slagged off like that before he's even played for us.

Who knew a 1-1 draw against the bottom club with yet another goal gifted to the opposition could inspire such optimism? Maybe MM and SDG are on to something after all?

Does he? Congratulations to him in that case. Still, many of us have been there, done that and still performed at work despite it and maybe even because of it. SDG seems to be a people person, unlike Harry Potter and his magic laptop, so he'll get to the bottom of whatever it is. At least we potentially have Iredale and N Cadden to cover if he needs a break.

I've been on Millers back recently, thought he played well overall. Looked like he just wanted to keep it simple and not try anything silly and lost count the amount of Ariel duels he won which I've always said is his strong point along with his strength.
Been thinking maybe he could make a very good center back in a back 3, I honestly thought when Boyle came back, Miller and Boyle would be a nuisance on the right, don't think we've seen it as much as we wanted.
