Would we take Dele Alli who is a free agent and we have the money for McCowan to pay wages , perhaps a club like Hibs is what he needs to get back to where he should be

That’s one of the worst I’ve seen and that’s saying something on here.
Hope you get better soon pal.
Hibernian forever.

Wait why not?:faf:
I mean it will never happen in a million years but he would also be our best player since Sauzee.

Not entirely sure Messi will be happy to be on the bench if we do sign him, mind you

Peak Dele Alli was better than the version of McGinn who left Hibs. Unfortunately we wouldn’t be getting peak Dele Alli (or any Dele Alli for that matter because this thread is utter madness)

Peak Dele Alli was a weird one. Certainly wasn't some classy 10 like Ozil or Zidane. He played a very niche role in a system that suited him, with 2 absolutely exceptional forwards in Kane and Son. He basically had a free roll to run beyond and get goals. As a footballer, he wasn't that great. Clever and a good finisher.
He has never really had a good game that wasn't next to Kane. And he was a man down that Spurs couldn't afford when likes of Dembele moved on.
Obviously his mental struggles played a part and I wish him the best with those. Impossible to know how much they impacted him.

Don't want that freakish hand thing anywhere near Easter Road.

That first paragraph is absolute rubbish. Ali had real pace and skill, scored some brilliant goals as well, and at his peak he was a really classy player. You're making a very strange comparison with players like Ozil and Zidane. Zidane was one of the best players of all time, Ozil was a really erratic player who was at times brilliant at other times really underperformed. I'm sure you'll fire some kind of stats at us but I don't really care, Dele Ali was a really good player at his peak.

Ozil was miles a better player than Ali for a lot lot longer. Not that that matters.
He did score from brilliant goals. He was a good player. But he played a very niche role that's never been recreated for him by anyone other than Poch. He basically peaked at 20. A shame, of course, as he could've been a great player. It's not an insult to say he only worked in a specific role. Many players are like that.
