Thought it would be useful for any fans to share any travel tips for match days etc as every week different road works and road closures.

Reading today’s match information it says Crawford Bridge is shut ? Is this right ?

Temp lights and single file traffic on Craigentinny Road/Sleigh Drive which may lead to some delays before and after the game.

Carrington Road closed near Crewe Road - where there also is temp lights.

Not now. They were cleared in the past couple of days. Thanks goodness. Major pain in the arse.

I stay just down the road and virtually impossible for me to avoid it. Appeared about two months ago and nobody knew when it was going to end. The lights were constantly breaking down and stuff. So glad they are gone. For now at least.

Crawfurd bridge was open when I used Bothwell Street after saturdays match, it is narrower though as they are still working on it and there is herris fencing on both sides of the pathway.

We noticed on Saturday that the Cameron Toll roundabout is to close for 8 (EIGHT) weeks from yesterday. This coupled with other closures like Holyrood Park and never ending road works that included a 4 way set at Straiton this week, is making what used to be a simple trip in from the south more and more of a nightmare.

West Approach Road, will be closed in both directions for one week at the end of September. Earlier in the month, it will close eastbound for two weeks and westbound for a week.

No it isnt.

Only one section is shut, the bit under the rail bridge next to the graveyard.

All other entrances / exits are open.

That's not what it says on the official site. No access to Dalkieth Road from Lady Road, Peffermill Road or Old Dalkieth Road.

Bus gate at peffermill is suspended.

It was all flowing ok just now but could be chaos later if it’s not fixed.

Yes was same last night. Some clowns coming straight from Hawhill Avenue on to Lochend Road without even looking. Some folk need to brush up on their Highway Code.

Temp lights also in place at junction of Craigentinny Avenue/Road for those travelling from the east. Might want to consider taking Restalrig Avenue instead.
