They may be looking at corporate manslaughter style charges if the crew failed in their duties. (My guess is they are looking at hatches and portholes being closed properly.

Think its more to do with the positioning of the keel, no engine running etc. stuff that experts have highlighted as being possible causes as to how an unsinkable vessel could sink.

I believe it is standard police and investigative procedure when there is loss of life in Italy in a major incident.

Not that they are looking at anyone in particular.

Thought it was interesting that the initial BBC report put a large emphasis on acquittal of the billion dollar US court case of Mike Lynch and his business partner (who coincidentally died a few days earlier than him in a cycling accident). Almost like they are trying to stoke the fires of conspiracy.

It is a bit weird that they both died a few days from each other though….
