Jonnyboy ( John Campbell ) - Minutes Applause

As you will all have seen from my previous post, my brother John passed away recently.

As a man who dedicated his life to hibs through the production of the popular ‘Mass Hibsteria’, assisting in the foundation of hibs.net, playing an active role in the hands off hibs campaign, working with hibs radio and Hibernian Interactive (predecessor to Hibs TV) and also writer of 2 books ‘At Easter Road They Play’ and ‘In Colours Green and White’ I think it is only fitting to arrange a minutes applause at our next home fixture.

If I can ask that on the 71st minute in our home fixture vs Dundee (24th August), please join Johns family and friends in celebrating the life of the old codger hibstorian!

Please help me spread the word.

As a guy who doesn't go to the matches, and hasn't been for years, your brother's posts and match reports were always a highlight and let me keep in touch with a team I hadn't been to see for a long time. I know many will be there and will see this as a fitting tribute, but please know there are a lot of us who don't go and who were able to 'follow' Hibs through your brother's hard work. I can't speak for the others, but I know I won't be there physically, but I'm sure there will be lots of us there in spirit.

My condolences for your loss. I hope he gets an amazing round of applause.

God bless John, when i think of you my thoughts incorporate Stantons angel and Mick Orourke both not heard of on hear lately, god willing they are both sound.
