Have you had an email on this from Hibs 1st?
Edit mine just landed
Celtic have a window for season ticket holders to reserve their seats, after that Hibs will probably get more tickets, but this is a very very small allocation

Pretty pointless giving where they’re sat since they’ll just sit wherever they want anyway and move folk out of their seats.

They’ve 53000 season ticket holders that have until Monday to secure their seat, then we’ll get more, and probably better seats than Hibs 1st will get

I'm not a member but I think that's a bit unfair on Hibs First, as it means they'll get allocated the crappy seats in the corner.
Hopefully they extend our allocation into the East Stand, then people stuck behind the pillars get the chance to move.

Did there not used to be cheaper tickets that were restricted view tickets at Parkhead?

I think first come 1st served will get non restricted views, then the other 250 or so will be restricted
We will get more as there’s no way Celtic will sell 58000 for this

750 has been the standard allocation for at least the last couple of years. Would be decent if we can manage 1500 or so for this

07-08-2024, 11:27 PM
Well if the Hibs First scheme is monitored and managed as it was initially intended 500 tickets should go straight away. But they won’t. People will then stay on a scheme that gets them Tynecastle tickets and they’ll be seen at a couple other games max throughout the year.
I say this all the time, despite being a member, this scheme just isn’t it imo.
Hopefully we do take 1500 or so through, a hammering this weekend probably won’t do much to wet the appetite though.

No offence meant here but Hibs First doesn’t guarantee you the best seat, it guarantees you a seat. It happens at Hampden when they don’t open all seats at once v the OF.

I think thats debatable - you could have added a couple of thousand on the total Queens Park and Peterhead gates, plus it encourages walk ups for league matches.

Yup, loyalty points definitely improve ticket sales for smaller games. I work with a Hearts season ticket holder who regularly says they are attending games only to ensure they keep a good loyalty points balance. Still can’t get my head around us not just copying the same system they use instead of trying to reinvent the wheel.

I know a boy who buys Hearts away tickets but rarely goes to them, the only reason he does it is so he keeps his points tally at such a level so he's guaranteed a ticket for Easter Rd.

It’s a joke. We won’t end up with anything extra because we’ll struggle to sell what we have due to the seats being as poor. Which they’ll be perfectly happy about.

Are they staggering the release of seats?
Only 60 odd unrestricted seats available just now.
Presuming the rest are getting released if these go?

Just got mine, row P so quite near the front.
I just hope nobody's stupid enough to try to steal my seat.

"The dedicated ‘Singing Section’ will be in Block 120, Row AA20-28, BB12-28, CC12-28, DD12-18."
As long as you're away from the above, you'll be fine.

Our fans yet again turning up in numbers. I tell you, it’s been horrible this last year. On here, social media, in the press. Constant digs, unrest and negativity. Some of it absolutely merited. Our away following out with St Johnstone and Ross County post split has been nothing short of class all things considered.
Baring in mind we are a 12/1 shot on Sunday, our fans are turning up knowing the inevitable is very much a certainty, but in numbers anyway!

We only have around about 1100 tickets in total (assuming we sell all the additional tickets). Thats really not a big support in the grand scheme of things

Yep, away support as consistently good as I can remember. Imagine we actually start doing well at any point.
Looking at a 50k plus crowd. Be worth a good few hundred grand.

The away support has definitely increased the last season or two, and it’s not just Hibs that are seeing that - I think all away crowds are up a bit.
There’s a younger demographic making up most of that increase I’d say. Seems to be an away day culture with folk in their early 20’s making a bit of a hedonistic day of it. There was always a hardcore of regular travellers, and they’re still there, but those numbers do look to have been boosted by 3-400 in recent times.

For a Sunday afternoon game that's also on TV I think that's pretty good.

Never said big numbers. In the context of this game. A Sunday, on the tv, could easily get hammered, it’s a good turnout already. The wider point is, despite the shambles on and off the park, numbers have been good throughout. Try and see the positives.

I see Celtic have pulled away tickets for the OF derby next month. We will have the biggest away support at Parkhead this season unless they draw another big club in the cup competitions who want additional tickets.

i see Killie play the 2nd leg against Copenhagen on Thurs 29th and due to play us at rugby park on the Saturday, nothing on the fishy site so far but i presume they will change it to the Sunday now.

not ticket related but I would assume we'll be donning our beautiful purple and green kit on Sunday, as there's no way the white one will be acceptable against Celtic. That may well be the best part of the day :greengrin

Why are we paying for postage anyway? That should be included in our Hibs First annual fee.

Still not arrived, I'll be firing off an email later because this is a an absolute joke. Pay for postage only to have to get a reprint after queuing at a ticket office. Crap service.

✳️ Hibs supporters to approach the usual turnstiles (66 and 67)
✳️ No matchday sales at Celtic Park for Hibernian supporters
✳️ Any purchased tickets that have not been collected, have been left with myself. These tickets will be available from the away turnstiles
✳️ Any reprint ticket requests should be collected from the away Ticket Office on Davaar Street at Celtic Park
✳️ The game is being broadcast live on Premier Sports. No Hibs TV (highlights and full match replay for subscribers later today)
✳️ Hibernian FC supporters’ buses, as on previous visits, are asked to park in Springfield Road
✳️ There is no planned segregation before or after the match. Should there be a change to this it will be broadcast on the Stadium PA System prior to the end of the match

I had a change of plans today so thought I might head to the game at the last minute. I take you can’t buy electronic tickets on the day having read this thread? Cant see anything on the Hibs website. Seems a bit daft that you can’t buy a ticket on the day. I’m assuming it’s not sold out.

I saw on Twitter a post about the Hearts allocation going on sale for the upcoming visit to Celtic.
£37 for a “Full View” ticket.
Thankfully it’s a while away yet before we’re back there..

Think most Hearts fans would probably prefer a restricted view of their team at the moment !
