A lot of people turned their noses up at the suggestion of Robinson to replace Monty, he's managed to build the squad that's scudding us on less than Ventes transfer fee. He's consistently done well with a shoe string budget and once again has his club punching above their weight.
Absolutely embarrassing result.

He should have got the job when Monty got it, the guy has a great record in Scotland with teams with much less resources than us.

I know one of his previous CEOs. According to him he initially wanted the Hibs job but wasn’t interested in reporting to Malky Mackay. You can see the point in not reporting to someone you have a better recent record than.

Should have got the job when we punted Maloney. Then LJ. Then Montgomery. A top manager at a smaller club under out noses.

It’s certainly depressing to see Killie and St. Mirren punching well above their weight with two managers we could easily have had. And using a fraction of our budget.
Always rated Robinson but not appointing McInnes after Ross will forever be a massive open goal that we missed.

When McInnes signed his new deal at Killie the most obvious candidate was Robinson.
Instead we’ve given a job to McPhersons pal and given the coaches job it to a rookie who’ll work with what he’s got and take the flak for the clowns above him.
We are a shambles.

People on here don't have a clue. McInnes should've been the aim with Robinson a close 2nd. No different from those that laughed at Hearts signing players like Spittal and Dhanda. Players they have to build a squad that will be in and out the team but even when on the bench are miles better than what we have starting. Better managers wouldn't be towing the club line and wouldn't accept the the squad we have. Going to be a rough season unless money is splurged on much better soon.
He's here!

I'm not sure it actually matters who the manager is. The trouble seems to run far deeper.

He could still get it
