Think we'll finish 5th. Inconsistent but better football and a solid base to build on.

Celtic to win the league, Ross County to get relegated and Falkirk to win the Championship.

Think we'll start well but it's going to be a long inconsistent season, around 6th I'd say at present.

6th place, Campbell POTY and some stability around the club.

We'll do well to get top six. Swapping places with Dundee perhaps. The top five teams are a bit beyond us at the moment perhaps.

I’ve nae idea how we’ll do. I think Gray will get more out of the players and have us more organised than last season. Depends how much we back him between now and the end of the window.

St Johnstone to be relegated, they’ve been getting away with it a bit.

Unless we address our lack of firepower we are looking at bottom six. I really hope I’m wrong.

Celtic will win the league
St Johnstone will be relegated and Levein will be the first manager sacked
Falkirk will be there or thereabouts in the Championship
Hibs will finish 6th-8th

I predict that we will sign some players in the forward areas, will finish 4/5 depending what Aberdeen do. We are better than Killie, St M and Dundee. We will be pretty solid and if we can score goals(as we already have done tbf) we will be good.

With the squad we have at present we will lose more than we win so will struggle to get into the top 6.

I think we will be the same as the last couple of seasons. Top 6 going down to the wire with us either just missing out or scraping in. Expectations generally in the fan base appear to be a lot lower this season so that may be seen as acceptable.

Bums on seats at ER continuing to dwindle. Possibility of things spilling over into some unsavoury scenes for the board. Promise of “big changes” for Season 25/26 from February onwards.

SDG to win his first Derby as manager at ER.

Kensell to successfully blame someone else for the club's failings, and still be here come the end of the season.

Another prediction I could see happening this season is Arsenal winning the premier League . I still think they need a top quality striker though.

We'll finish between 8th and 10th, Celtic will win the league by a mile. Ross County relegated

I think we'll get enough quality in the door by the end of the window to finish top six. Probably fifth.

Pumped out the League Cup by Celtic and get to Hampden in the Scottish.

St Johnstone relegated and Raith Rovers to come up.

NMW to be player of the year, Rudi YPOTY and Boyle (or Myko if he signs) top scorer.

Hibs to scrape top 6 but probably just miss out on Europe.
Josh Campbell POTY.
We beat Hearts in the Scottish Cup.
We sign Owen Bevan on deadline day (or thereabouts)

Think it would be crazy to predict a 3rd finish without a ball even kicked and after last season.

Top 6 and a decent cup run as things stands, think a good start would be a bonus starting Sunday.

I don't know why but I have a feeling we will string together a big run at some point which will take us into the European places . Fancy Aberdeen to finish third and county to go down .

Hibs 6th, one decent cup run to at least a semi final. Celtic to flop again in Europe. Edinburgh City to finish bottom of the pile.

Despite a lot of doom and gloom over the squad depth, David Gray has a 50% win percentage over his whole time in charge of Hibs teams.

That can be picked upon of course with various caveats, but as a starting point to enter a new league campaign, it’s a decent base to build upon.

He’s proven he can get results and can put an organised side out and I think we’ll be harder to beat this time round. If he can maintain that win percentage that’s probably 4th place and a decent crack at the cups. The Celtic tie may mean that will have to be in The Scottish but we’re not out the League Cup yet.

I’m thinking a top 6 berth, and how high up the top 6 subject to additions, if any. Squad as it stands is 8/9th territory.

I think Gray will do all right. Think he’ll have whatever he has competitive. It’s down to the club to give him better to work with now.

With this squad, I’d say 9th or 10th. Enough in the tank to finish ahead of Dundee, Ross County and St Johnstone, but probably few others.

Too early to say tbh. Depends if we sign some more players. Gray will make us competitive and difficult to beat but we badly need quality up front. That will decide where we finish.

This place is depressing sometimes is it no? Defence hopefully been improved and a couple of forwards on the way. Midfield we could probs do with one more but I think we'll be fine. We'll be in the mix for top 4 places 👍

we'll be in the mix for 4th - should be an interesting season! I'm actually feeling quite confident about gray - really like the way he speaks, seems to have a vision and an ability to impart this on the players - Kelty was a painful lesson! liked what I saw in the Queens Park game re our attacking intent and feel confident that some of the youth players will get a chance and step up.

the double header against Celtic is a bit **** in not allowing us to build momentum if they play as well as they have pre season, but a competitive showing in those games should get the fans back on side. would like to think we'll get at least one well overdue derby win and scalp the huns too...

if the above happens I'm looking forward to easter road being vibrant again and a lot more energised!
