The youth players used to sell the happy hibbie tickets around the ground back in the day. Scott Brown sold me my £1400 winning ticket in the Almond Suite, V hertz, Mixu chipped the late penalty over the bar in a 0 - 0 draw.

I can't commit, sadly, but do you know if they'll be accepting card payments? I rarely have cash and ER is a cashless stadium.

I’ve put myself forward, and I’m honestly excited to finally get myself back involved with the club having been so distant over the last 10 years or so due to work commitments over the weekends.
I’ll now happily spare an hour or more to help make everyone else experience at Easter Road what it should be !

Well done on helping out. It seems like a really sensible initiative. Raising funds for HCF, giving fans an opportunity to forge close links with the club and opening up an option if some fans may not have been able to spare the money but can spare the time. Very good idea all round and if you are stationed at the bottom of the stairs at the West Upper I will buy one at most games I attend

£2 a pop.
Sellers are going to be in a fixed location every week across each stand. They'll have a desk at a set point so won't be like the last days of the old draws when you had to search them out.
Hopefully it's a big success.

Many happy memories of my old man getting me a Happy Hibee ticket, never won a bean but the excitement of what might be was enough! Quite often the draw at halftime was the highlight of the day back then…..might still be😳😂 I’ll be looking out for the sellers tomorrow👍

Would be good if we could buy these online in advance of the game too (this functionality was available during the pandemic)

After about 8 years of not going due to financial reasons I was there today selling tickets in the east and thought it was brilliant.
Really really good of the Hibs community foundation guys to offer season tickets never mind having them sorted and ready for the game on a few days notice.

Good to see it back but would suggest having the desk right outside the toilets in the east isn’t the best place to be set up. In a big game with a big crowd could cause mayhem with the queues for the toilets and the draw before the game both pretty much in the same place

Couldn't find any in both famous five upper and lower either
My biggest complaint was the first drawn ticket won third prize, and the third ticket drawn got first prize. Basically meaning the person who got the third prize never had a chance of winning the money. By all means, announce them third prize to first but the first drawn ticket has to win the main prize. It’s called first prize for a reason!!

Utterly sorry to hear that Dave. We are starting a new system and a new way of processing things. There should be everyone with community jumpers (Bright Purple) every weeks and tables set up. Usually at the the same place every home home.
I feel like it will be much more streamlined next home game. Personally I had no issues dealing with it and I’d be happy to take any info

I was down the stairs and missed the draw, apart from hearing one number that wasn't mine. Are you saying I might have come third but be the big winner?

More a comment than a gripe. It's week 1, and these things happen. If it's deemed appropriate by health and safety, then the bottom of the stairwell when people enter the turnstiles or even halfway upstairs would be ideal.

I didn't see anyone in the FF upper either and walked the length of the concourse to look.
I was a fair bit later in yesterday that I usually am (about 2.50) so wondered if the sellers had packed up so they didn't miss the start of the match, which would be fair enough.
I got one in the West Lower . I'd been looking for someone at a table but there was no table - I'm easily confused :greengrin
Guy was where they always used to sell them. Kinda halfway between the turnstile and the food bit towards the side of the men's toilets.

Again any information or feedback would be grateful in making the process smoother, there are a lot of H&S and fire regulations you have to adhere to, violations with placement of tables and positions of people.
But I’m more than welcome to take in any gripes and comments and work with them, that’s why I’m here and part of the process.

Noted that the winning numbers should be announced via the Hibs site or even relayed here ! Perfect example of a question or query that can easily be fixed !
For the draw itself it’s half the takings ( the other half going towards the community foundation) second prize is a signed strip and third is two tickets behind the goals for the hospitality there.

Will there be a seller in the west upper (I'm in the section closest to the FF) for future games? If not, then I'll know to head into the lower concourse as I come in.

Ideally we will have someone in the west upper towards the FF, but in an ideal world Hibs would be top of the league right now ! That will be worked on and discussed and hopefully moving forward it won’t be as much of an issue.

Absolutely spot on. I noticed that as well. When HHHT Draw first started many years ago (20ish?), I went round to reception in West stand after the game to point it out. The right draw/prize sequence was in place next game.
This time round, I’ve sent an email to the Commercial/Marketing Dept pointing out the error. Only had an automated response but no direct answer yet.
Hope it’s sorted for St Johnstone game!

Is it a case of a lack of bodies that you can't staff both upper and lower at the same time?

I got a couple in the FF Upper after missing out the 1st week. Guy was at one of the food kiosks (which was closed). Hadn't been able to find anyone the first week but he was easy enough to spot this time in a purple Foundation hoodie.
The prize was 3x what it was the first week and even allowing for the generous sponsorship of the programme guys that still suggests a lot more tickets were sold. Communication of the winning numbers and the drawing of the jackpot first also makes it seem like feedback is being taken on board.
Hopefully all the wee teething problems can be worked through and the feedback about not being able to get tickets and so on utilised so that it can go from strength to strength. It's good to have it back.

Still a few teething problems I think but it's still good to see it back. West Lower ran out of tickets , waited about 10 mins or so and someone turned up with more but the girl couldn't take payment because the server was down. A full Easter road is always tough for the Internet I think. Second time I've been and they'd ran out of tickets. Don't under estimate us - we love a wee half time draw ticket :greengrin
